Our children are such a wonderful gift, no matter how they come to us! I can certainly feel the love you have for your precious Samuel! I am honored every day to get to be the Mommy to my two children, who would have a fit if they heard me call them "children" at the ages of 23 and 21, haha. Yay!!! So glad Twinkle and her babies are home and all is well!!! Oh, how ADORABLE are those sweet babies and their mommy! Are yorkie puppies always born black? I didn't realize they are such a dark color at birth. Twinkle is such a beautiful dog and such a good mommy! Thanks for sharing pics, I was having a fit to see those puppies, haha! Cute post! Oh, can I ever relate! Love the flylady, I joined a while back but haven't kept up with it, haha! I used to get dressed every single morning when my kids were little, don't know now how I had the energy to do it back then. I would call myself a frumpasaurus now, though! I love playing around in my little nest in my pj's or boxers and a t-shirt, only get dressed if I have somewhere to go. I love that word and I will have to tell my husband that's what I have turned into over the years, a frumpasaurus, haha!

Your new kitty is precious! I know you will come to love her very much! I also know no kitty will ever take the place of your Star! I have two puppies, well, they are not exactly "puppies" anymore but we still call them that, our Sasha will be 9 this year, we brought her home when she was 4 1/2 weeks old and our Lexi will be 3 this year! They are my constant companions, my best little friends and the most loyal and loving creatures in the world. I cannot imagine a day when I don't have them, it breaks my heart to just think of it for a moment. I am so happy for you that you have a new kitty to love! (((hugs))) Milli

Oh, I just love that you went "shopping" in your own home!!! I do that too! Love all the gorgeous white decorations you have and those twinkle lights under your fabric/runner is just awesome! It does add such a beautiful glow that you can enjoy all year round! I have some twinkle lights that I use for decorating all year too, just make things warm and cozy! And those puppies, all I can say is you are a strong Mommy to stand your ground, haha! Goodness, I would have been a sucker for sure in that situation, haha! Hi again Heather, I just had to pop back in and tell you...we are getting SNOW TODAY!!!!!! I am soooo happy!!!! I know you are sick of it, we never get any and if we do it never sticks for long. We are under a winter advisory storm for the whole weekend and guess what??? It's already sleeting at my house, yay!!! My Aunt and I are on our way out the door hitting as many antique shops as we can today before the roads freeze over! I so hope we get enough to make a snowman, haha! Wow, what beautiful treasures of days gone by! Maybe it was no coincidence they ended up in your hands! I found myself wondering those same questions while reading the sweet letters! I always feel sadness too when I find something so precious in an antique shop, why no one in the family wanted to keep such momentos of the past, or maybe the family had all gone on and the ones who cleaned out the remains of a life didn't take the time to see what they had? My Daddy used to write letters to me while he was away working, I felt so special and loved each time I received one of his letters. Our family home burned down in 1984, what I would give to still have those precious letters from my Daddy. Oh wow about the snow you have gotten...I know you are probably sick of it, I am praying we get some, haha! It is in our forecast for the weekend but we probably won't get enough to cover the ground. Wish I could come and visit you, haha! Make a snowman for me, a southern belle just hoping for a glimpse of snow down here in the south, haha! Stay warm and drink plenty of hot chocolate!
