Oh, I almost forgot...What is that little yellow thing behind your left arm in the picture? It is pretty blurred out. A knob perhaps? All I know is that I want one. Where did you get it?

Today: - we slept in 'til about 8:45. - tanner didn't golf. - we went to the mall. all of us. the three oldest need new shoes. only tanner found some... white jordans. - kate slept the whole time in her stroller. hallelujah. - dave met us for lunch. great steak for dave, ta...
Its cool that you got your baby carrier monogrammed with your baby's name on it. Bjorn (with two little dots over the "o") is such a unique name. I heart it.

Oh fetch! I love it all. We've got a rule in our house that the kids cannot put their dirty feet on their bedspread/comforter. Isn't that interesting?
We Do Have Other Kids Besides Kate.
Remember Tanner, Brynley, Ellie, and Bridger? They're alive and well :) Tanner. We don't see Tanner much. He has a job. It's called GOLF. Dave drops him off at the golf course around 9 every morning and picks him up on his way home from work around 5. I keep thinking he'll get tired of it, may...
I've got a few questions for you; First, Do you know where I can get a autographed copy of Harry Potter #5? Second, What school supplies do you recommend for a kindergartener?
kate - july 27
Tonight I took Brynley and Ellie to Target for a little bit so Ellie could spend her birthday gift card. I told Dave we'd be back in 1/2 hour. Of course we were gone longer than a 1/2 hour. Who can go to Target and be back in 1/2 hour?? There were school supply aisles. And sale end caps. And B...
Hey, I was wondering if you would share where you got that box of Lucky Charms from? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Do you know if they make Lucky Charms without those gross brown pieces? If you do, please email me and let me know.
kate - july 24
Sunday reality, 7:34 p.m.: Bridger waking up, not very happily, from a laaaaate nap. Kate crying to eat and (hopefully) sleep. Pillows scattered all over. A box of Lucky Charms on the floor... with all the marshmallows picked out. Little cowboy boots kicked off after church. Blankets. Video ga...
Brynley takes some good pictures.
Did you end up getting anything at the Disney Store or did he just want to go browsing?
three-year-old fits
Bridger is usually pretty delightful. He's easy-going, funny, calm, happy, and tender. BUT. There are definite moments that aren't so delightful. He's also a really good fit thrower. Yesterday in the hall at church he had a pretty good one because he wanted to go to the MALL. He kept saying, "We...
Kids these days and their fancy lunches...Mom made me the same lunch for 8 years;
peanut butter sandwich (only peanut butter and bread)
a baggie of chips,
and a juice box.
No zip-locs either, only those baggies that folded over itself.
school lunches
I just spent the last hour and a half assembling little baggies for school lunches for the week. It's like a little gift I give myself :) Makes the mornings run a little bit smoother. 15 bags of baby carrots 5 bags of red bell peppers strips (Tanner) 15 bags of grapes 10 bags of cucumbers (girl...
Hey, this is my fifth time commenting on your blog. Just have Ellie do what the other kids do...look up the problem on the internet and copy the answer.
homework blues
I have the homework blues. It took an hour and a half to get through Ellie's homework. Math is a MAJOR struggle. Seven story problems took about 70 minutes. There were tears and tantrums. Yelling and threats. Barbies were taken away. I'm not proud. I was feeling a little (ok, a lot) discouraged...
We only read the BOM in our house at bedtime. No pictures.
ten on tuesday
1. This morning after we dropped the girls off at school, Bridger and I came home and started to settle into our usual morning routine. He was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (his new favorite) and I was starting laundry and clean-up. As I walked by with an armful of dirty clothes, I looked at ...
Crazy to think that next year there will be 12 kids!
nine cute kids
We got home Saturday night from a perfect trip to the ranch. So much to say, so many pictures, so many stories. But I'm tired and it's late. So let's start with photos of nine of the cutest kids ever. Oldest to youngest:
I've sent letters to General Mills asking them to make lucky charms with marshmellows only! Who wants to eat those gross brown things anyway? Sadly, no response from General Mills yet.
four things
1. Bryn's room is now painted. Our blue obsession continues. She's deciding if she likes it. I LOVE it. Her room is empty except for her bed. It's so pretty and calm in there. Meanwhile, my room looks like this: I can hardly walk in there. We've got a little work to do this week. Bla...
Im guessing the texting will start within 6 months. I want to be Tanner's first text message.
few on friday
1. Bridger climbed into our bed this morning with warm feet and wet jammies. The second day in a row I get to change his sheets! Goody! I turned on Wonder Pets. He told me he wanted oatmeal. I get up, make his oatmeal, get milk, and bring it all back to bed. He eats. He took a drink. "WHAT IS T...
Great pictures. Ellie is so pretty.
seven
Ellie turned SEVEN today. We've been celebrating all week. Let's begin with the big party on Tuesday... Our whole family came over Tuesday night for dinner and swimming. It was really a perfect night. I kept looking around thinking how lucky I am to have such a great family. We had Jimm...
I noticed that my kids are missing from the photo...they must have been helping you take your picture.
the last day of may
May went really fast! I wish I would have been a 100% with my goal. Oh well. Maybe next May. What should we do in June? "Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in June" -- sounds really poetic. Anyway. Just a few things today. 1. Today I decided that our #1 rule this summer is going to be, "When my m...
i think once bridger is potty trained, he will be running around totally naked...no need for underwear.
day 22, 8:42 a.m.
8:42 a.m. Ellie just woke up. I hear the following little conversation: Ellie: "Bridge, let's go play in my room." Bridger: "OH! I wike your room!" Bridger (while walking into her room): "Wook, Eddie! Your room is clean!" (once again, only in a diaper. shall we potty train this week? then ...
just don't wear those sandals with socks and you're all good.
day 18, the big birthday
Tanner is thirteen. 13. THIRTEEN!! It's sort of shocking to me, really. I think it's weird that he's at an age that I totally remember being. He's old. I guess that means I'm old, too. An account of his birthday:I woke up at 6:00 and thought I should go get some krispy kremes for the birth...
