More Easter food photos..
forgot these in the last update.... Nanny Gwen's Lemon cake....delish. I ran for the first time in years up the road to cancel out the cakes and am feeling very virtuous. Run is a slight exaggeration of course, more like I crawled up the road... Continue reading

(Cross all fingers and toes and all other relevant bits on Tuesday)I'm promised 3 months of a blurry right eye then hopefully all will be well in my world and I might eventually get my Etsy shop rockin' and rollin'....:) I handprinted the numbers and appliqued... I'm Back. Greetings 2010
It's been a long time. A very long time. There was a mammoth Christmas holiday. Disastrous weather for travelling so we were all trapped in Kildare. Eventually we got home on the 5th January and the girls both get scarlet fever within 2 hours of each other. What a dose. Miserable babies and miserable Mammy. we all had severe lashings of cabin fever. It has passed and let that be it 2010 with sick girls. The first day they felt better, we got out the paints and painted a beautiful piece. It'll be up on the wall as soon as... Continue reading

Survived the 2 year old double birthday party!...
Survived the 2 year old double birthday party! Hurrah! It was a great day and night, great to get everyone together again. The girls had a ball despite having to take a nap in the middle of the proceedings. They nearly missed the highlight...a fabulous Makka Pakka cake. I used butter cream icing to decorate. I was going to use the roll out icing but I think it would have looked tragic if I had started to colour it. My Mum and I seriously over estimated the quantity of food needed. In a big way. I think we were counting... Continue reading
