So I thought about it yesterday, and Im just wondering if Urban Myth would have had to step down for health reasons if they would have beat Bama?? Like it was saod b4, this whole story in B.S....10 losses for Myth in 5 years, and he knew that 4 losses were coming next season.

ORLANDO _ UM coach Randy Shannon has made it clear all season the plan is for freshman Mike James to return to fullback next year. It may not be such a slam dunk anymore. It's likely James lines up at tailback in 2010, but Shannon said Saturday it's too early to make a decision. "Don't know," Shannon said, when asked if James remains at fullback. "It's a long way away, too far to think ahead." The fact Shannon has somewhat switched gears says a lot about the job James has done this year. After being recruited at halfback, he moved to fullback when Pat Hill suffered a season-ending ankle injury. The 5-11, 220-pound James has made the transition with ease. James and Javarris James were requested for interviews after practice, but weren't made available before the team headed to lift weights. Quarterback Jacory Harris, speaking at Tuesday's practice, called Mike James one of the team's "unsung heroes." "Mike is a very undersized fullback at 200 pounds," Harris said. "When we played against Clemson the linebacker was 6-5, 260 [pounds], and he's blocking him." Shannon is most likely waiting on Hill's status before making any decision. Hill is expected to apply for a medical redshirt. A few thoughts: --Shannon commented on the progress of freshman defensive tackle Curtis Porter. He said Porter arrived at camp overweight, but has worked his way into playing shape. His biggest area of improvement is pass rush. --Is it just me or wouldn't a matchup between the Hurricanes and USC in the Emerald Bowl be more appealing? I mean, if Bobby Bowden can get wish, why can't the fans? --I'll post some Wisconsin notes this afternoon. The Badgers conclude practice at 4 p.m.

- Malcolm Grant scored 14 points to lead five Hurricanes in double figures as Miami cruised to the 80-59 victory over North Carolina A&T on Monday at the BankUnited Center to give head coach Frank Haith his 100th victory. Grant hit a pair of three-pointers to extend his three-point streak to all 13 games this season, tying for the second-longest active streak in the ACC. Dwayne Collins and Durand Scott each finished with 13 points, while James Dews and Cyrus McGowan each scored 10 points. Miami (12-1) never trailed and opened to a 21-6 lead in the first eight and half minutes of the game. Scott scored eight points during the early run. Reggie Johnson's three-point play with 5:23 remaining in the first half increased the Hurricanes lead to 33-13. The Aggies (4-7) went on a 12-2 run early in the second half to cut Miami's lead to 52-42 with 12:58 remaining, but Collins responded with UM's next seven points, including a driving slam dunk with 11:41 left for a 59-45 lead.
