April, I have stored my Tim Holtz inks this way for several years. I have not had a problem with the ink leaking to the bottom edge of the pad. I didn't even rotate the ink pads because with the adhered velcro and foam they only fit well if the foam end was at the top. I do, however, have reinkers for my favorite colors. That's always a good thing to have on hand rather than buying a whole new ink pad. I've had to reink a few periodically, but I think that is from use and not how I store them.

In the winter I de-stress about cold and snow by layering on the Distress for tags, cards and mixed media projects. Mama always told me to layer in the winter and I listen! Working on warm, colorful projects blows the doldrums away too. I think these will be wonderful colors not only in the winter but year round!
