I appreciate how you kept to the original illustrations and kept the font simple. However, I can see the edges of the paper in some of the illustrations lol.
"Pooh's Small Adventure"
I was finally able to figure out what to do. Thank you brother!!! Here it is...Please read it. I was going crazy to figure out the rhyming and to make sense and go along with the story. Let me know what you think. Be honest :-) And there you go....There are a coupl...
I love the concept behind the illustrations and the use of the caterpillar from Eric Carle's books. The only thing is that the pieces from the caterpillar used for the hill seem blurry like it was stretched. Other than that the illustrations are adorable.

Final..
So I decided to do a book on nursery rhyme with simple illustrations and colored/patterned backgrounds. I'm trying to upload them to the blog but for some reason I'm having issues. Continue reading

Final Project Idea
I've decided to make a book, but the hardest part for me was content. I had no idea what to make my book of. This morning while it was raining I had a lightbulb moment. I started singing, "rain rain, go away," and that's when it hit me. I'm going... Continue reading

This one came out the most successful. I'm just curious as to why the edges are pixelated, it looks as though the image was stretched.

Comparing the first set with the second one, the second time around came out a lot better. In the first set you can see that they are black on white. I kind of can make out a face on the left hand side, and the arrow-like shape on the bottom left corner looks like an arm. I'm not sure if that was your intention though haha.
Contrast and Composing
I never thought it would be so hard to choose two different fonts. Gone thru so many of them and came up with these. Let me know what you guys think.... I don't know if you guys can tell but I actually used the same letters on both displays. Can you tell which ones? Tried it in class one m...
Awesome concept. I think the hands were a good way to create a more varied composition. This would be a really cool project done in Illustrator.

The bottom left one seems to be the most successful. You can't really tell if the composition is black on white, or white on black. I think the bottom right one has too much black in it, maybe if the design was broken up a little bit more it would be even better.

I like how you turned the photo into a night scene. Maybe you could try blending the water a little bit more, you can see lines where sections were copied and pasted. =)
Nantucket
LOL, I love the giant bird, so cute. The only thing it needs is a shadow to make it blend into the picture more. And maybe adjust the brightness of it.
