Well there's some bad evidence that restaurants can't survive with a $15 minimum wage, right there. Grub is closing, but to become another restaurant. Boat Street is closing because Renee, the owner, wants to concentrate on the two new projects she's opening on Capitol Hill, and the space is getting taken over by the restaurant next door. (http://seattle.eater.com/2015/2/24/8105201/boat-street-cafe-serving-its-last-meal-may-30) Little Uncle, a restaurant owned by a couple of guys who previously just ran a take-out window, is closing one location because "[w]e have come to the conclusion that the Pioneer Square location ultimately does not fit into the goals of our professional life and personal life." (http://seattle.eater.com/2015/2/23/8097933/little-uncle-closing-pioneer-square-location) Although I guess if all you've done is take Econ 101, you don't have to think about the fact that businesses are run by people with lives, and may not be solely related to efficiently generating profit.
