Thanks Fon, I think you actually understood my point though with alot of spelling mistakes and omissions on my part. I think for us to progress and go foward we must keep asside what divides us tribe, ethnicity , language, origin. And strive toward what unites us, the common good of our nation. that would be the right attitute. Let Rwanda, and Sudan be for us and example else we would build a traditions on tribalism that would cost us much in the near future. Bless you all
Rexon, Kumba boyBig Joe,Fon and Avitus Agbor, I think that what Avitus Agbor has written is good. But it seems to me that you all are not different in mentality. You are all in the same light fanning North west and South west Divide. Let me let you know that this is a political stratergy called divide and rule put in place by the Lion of Ongola. When you make a statement like this one, "Instead of asking SWners to migrate northwards, escape from mosquitoes and enjoy the beautiful grasslands, SWELA unfortunately bought to the covert divisive strategies of the New Deal regime", You demonstrate your Bais and hated towards the southwesterner. You are making a mistake and I feel that if you share this opinion, you need to apologise and repent. If we have to move foward the first thing to do is to prove that we can have confidence in each other. I see alot of hatratd in you mentality. Lets move on though.
A TRUCE BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF BUEA STUDENTS UNION(UBSU) AND THE UNIVERSITY OF BUEA ANDMINISTRATION. Considering the fact that the university of Buea authorities under the able leadership of prof. Cornelius M. Lambi have publicly acknowledged the they erred in the publication of results of the written part of the competitive entrance examination into the department of medicine of the faculty of health science of the university of Buea, which provoked a student strike action leading to the gruesome murder of two students on the 29th Nov 2006, and wanton destruction of public and private property both on and off campus; Mindful of the recent Ministerial Order N# 0028/05/12/06(Article 1 new) which officially increases the initial 60places to 85 as indicated in the final list of successful candidates published by the honourable minister of higher education; Given the t additional names that made up the 153 list which is said to have been based on regional balance had already been endorsed; we find it difficult to blend the subject of regional balance with the conventional norms of meritocracy. Considering also that there is the absence of a mechanism at our disposal to implement our opinion, we therefore call on the powers that be to set up a committee to kindly make clear the justification of regional balance. Given that a mixed committee of both staff and students have been put in place to ensure the proper implementation of the points below; Considering that the students of the University of Buea also had other problems, which were presented to the UB Administration in a memorandum of nine points, upon which the vice Chancellor verbally granted the following: .Absolute and unconditional immunity to all the students of the University of Buea after the strike .A complete evacuation of the forces of law and order from the campus of the university of Buea at the event of signing this truce. . The provision of a comfortable working office for the university of Buea student Union(UBSU) at the event of signing this truce . Payment of Olympic benefits ( During the University games of 2006) to UB participants. .Equal payment of registration fee for undergraduate and masters programmes(50 000frs) as in other state universities. .Free of charge initial transcripts for all students of the university of Buea. . Cancellation of 10000frs penalty for the late payment of registration fee. . A forwarded request by the authorities an the publication of findings for the students who were shot dead during the April-May 2005 strike action and the November-Decenber2006 Strike action. . And that he said that the minister in his wisdom said it would be a politically unwise idea. Please I want to know if suh men can say such things truely or its just a fake runour. Excuse me Nforminde, this in response to you last posted message on the topic two stdents shot dead lets clarify your ignorance. We are not hear to fight against the Francophones. We are here to declare that the Francophones are waging a war of oppression against us at all levels. this is getting too much. I am sure it will soon be a genocide. Our socalled brothers dont seem to have a concience. Nforminde you only clain to be Anglophone but you probably have never had the Anglophone experience. Have you ever gone to any ministry there in Yaounde and pretended not to know how to speak French. Then you would understand that the Anglophone is considered a secondclass Citizen in this Nation. That is why your brothers are bent to bring in Stomarch Politics to destroy our prestigious Alma Matter, UB a place to be. I percieve that you understand nothing about the precolonial History of this nation at all. You equally do not understand what happened at before , during and after the Fumban Conference. You know nothing about the politics of the PLEBICIT so when intelectuals talk it would be better for ignorant people to sit quiet esle you expose your ignorance. Only he that wears a shoe knows where it pinches. You have just had anglophone education and have fallen in love with the System. What do you think of us who have been in the Anglophone culture since birth. Do yopu think that we would sit and watch the corrupt both anglophone and Francophones destroy our treasures. Nforminde enough is enough with all this mess. You better give a second thought to you words and make more research about what you say.

Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws that govern your relationship with God. Four Spiritual Laws English God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life. God's Love "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16, NIV). God's Plan [Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10). Why is it that most people are not experiencing that abundant life? Because... Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life. Man is Sinful "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his own stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is an evidence of what the Bible calls sin. Man Is Separated "The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23). This diagram illustrates that God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. The arrows illustrate that man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion -but he inevitably fails. The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf... Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life. He Died In Our Place "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). He Rose from the Dead "Christ died for our sins... He was buried... He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6). He Is the Only Way to God "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me'" (John 14:6). This diagram illustrates that God has bridged the gulf that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins. It is not enough just to know these three laws... We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives. We Must Receive Christ "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12). We Receive Christ Through Faith "By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as result of works that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9). When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth (Read John 3:1-8.) We Receive Christ Through Personal Invitation [Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" (Revelation 3:20). Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will. These two circles represent two kinds of lives: Self-Directed Life S-Self is on the throne -Christ is outside the life -Interests are directed by self, often resulting in discord and frustration Christ-Directed Life -Christ is in the life and on the throne S-Self is yielding to Christ, resulting in harmony with God's plan -Interests are directed by Christ, resulting in harmony with God's plan Which circle best represents your life? Which circle would you like to have represent your life? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following explains how you can receive Christ: You Can Receive Christ Right Now by Faith Through Prayer (Prayer is talking with God) God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer: Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Does this prayer express the desire of your heart? If it does, I invite you to pray this prayer right now, and Christ will come into you life, as He promised. Now that you have received Christ
Thank rexon but let me tell you abit about hostiry of reformation. Many hundreds of year befor the comming of Christ, Many phylosophies have rose about bringing Change and establishing pease on earth. Infact statistics show that about 1600 movement rose with diverse Philosophies which where all mans reflestion and ways of diong things. After the death of Christ many other movements have come up. It was common to see that many of these movements use sluggans like peace for all by theyear 2000 and health for all by the year 2000. Nothing has actually changed in the world as far as the heart of man is concerned. we still remain desperately wicked if given the opportunity. Alot of us will still betray one another if given the opportunity. That is just what our beloved brothers of our Anglophone fatherland are doing to us. Thaey are just exhibiting the nature of mant in its lustful futility.Pease has not still be established. Let us keep aside religious pretention and hold unto the true God whao saves. I am not saying that we can use only this method. I am saying that we cannot neglect the religious point of view at all. Alot of people would not believe in Jesus yet we must lay the foundation of our nation under jesus if we are made leaders. The Lion of "Ongola" has turned this nation into ruins by handing over this nation to the Rossy Cross Order. That is why hie fellow followers boy to Him are the King of the Jungle. Alot of them dont have mercy on the lower animal because they need them for food. the exhibit the wickedness of the Lion God of Rossy cross which has been assigned as the camerooniain Totem along side with the cunning serpant. Sorry these are deep spiritual things you may not understand. However the deliverer of this nation must be another Lion that is greater in AUthority. "The Lion of the tribe of JUDAH" That is just right spiritual dimention of things. The Physical dimention of things are different. But a real tranformer must first get into the Spiritual dimention, make things happen before comming to see the manifestations. those evil people spend all of their time making incantations to the devil for more powers. Resently the have been asked surely to give blood so they have come to UB again. But rex assure you believe me or not. It is the genesis of a graet revolution in this nation. Change in near. We must not be afraid to proclaim Jesus. Proclaim him and he will take care of the rest of the business. Let me tell you. Every business involves risk politics included. We must take a step of faith. Real faith in a real person. Our faith is not aimless but is is substantiated in the finished works of Christ jesus on the Cross. He will see you and I through. While the religious dimention is not undermended. we continue to take care of the Phisical things , the social well being of CITIZENS, fight and die for our rights to be given, shout at curruption face to face with the currupt and so on. God bless you Rex. your ediea I acknowledge and think they are wonderful and are welcome.
Ma Mary dont mind them. This is just one of those who hear stories and narrate them with an unscientific mentality. They are just hungry people who think they can also have something to contribute. They have no knowledge at all about anything. I prefere you dont spend valuable time in talking to people who do not matter. Just ignore them and lets get on.Thanks for the links, they really make me more informed and more prepared. I have always adced UB students to be intelectual in their struggle for change.
Rexon, I am sorry I have not been on board since morning. Rex and the other corps. This is the time for action. But let me advice you guys about the kind of action we can take. I am not a political kind of person. But I believe I am a transformer. an instrument of change. Could we first recognise that as a Nation we have wondered far away. I am still working on my first publication Church Astray-Nations in riuns. This will be a clear explanation of my phylosophy of life. The rovulution has to come from the pulpit to the nation. Do you know that those at the forfront of Churches are these same people. They have currupted the clergy who never knew God personally and have won them over to the lustfulness of their sinful nature. Rexon a change can only come when we agree with God that we are sinful and then deside to rurn away from our sin. We need to bring the message of truth that changes men to this nation. A UB social science researcher working on Behaviour and corruption says that, the problem with corruption in our nation is the Human mentality. The human mentality needs a transformation it needs to be changed and renewed by God. " The heart of the human problem is the problem of the Human heart" If you care memorise this. After recognising our problem we then need to turn to the solution that is Jesus Christ who save. he will do the rest. meanwhile we do this let us not relend upholding justice latting it flow like a stream and righteousness like a river that never goes dry. God has called UB students in this battle as the prophets to stand out against the Kings of this land and its officials. To say no to evil openly. But these same prophets must be careful to walk upright in the sight of God. They must clearly relate to him so that he will guide and direct their path. That is where to solution will come. Thank you all.
Let me repet these words for the sake of reminder."The University is still to recover from the recent eruption of another strike action and the death earlier in the year of Prof Charles Atangana Nama, and Dr Chief John Ebanja. Endeley's death has sent profound shockwaves through UB faculties, as they are asking, 'Who next?' Endeley was Registrar of the University of Buea for over 10 years. He lost his post, a juicy one, after the last strike action, during which 2 students were slain. He would be remembered for callously comparing the bullets from the guns of the soldiers to the stones which David used in killing Goliath. He said mockingly that, "I do not see any difference between stones and bullets. Both are lethal. David killed Goliath with a stone." He will also be sadly remembered for encouraging male lecturers of UB to harrass female students sexually. "If the lecturers do not go out with the female students, how do they end up finding husbands?" he asked bluntly."
Rexon, When I read some these comments I am badly hurt. Let me tell you that alot of these people enduldge in occultism. Normal human beings cannot just act like that. They have been asked certainly to donnate blood. Let year before the strike a group of us felt that something was wrong and so resorted to pray for the nation for a one week prayer and fasting program. My intimate freind had just been a victim of UB's occultism so I prayed with devotion for his case. We dethroned the forces of darkness that were reigning over the Nation and UB. Surprisingly God was at work. The next morning I felt very reluctant going to School at all. Suddenly I heard a large croid in a riot. That was the begining of the strike of last year. Let me let you know that forces of darkness are at work. I was never at the sciene of the strike. I was always going into my room to continue to pray for the situation because I knew God was at work. God had shown me in my dream that some students were going to die and I shared this with some brethren who joined me in prayer. This is a Biblical principle when ever a great revolution is going to take place. There must be the shedding of blood. Jesus had to share his blood for us to have forgiveness of sins. That is why God in his righteouness allowed all of these students to pay the price for the upcomming change. What was interesting to me is that I was accused by my HOD as being at the forefront of the strike. he made the stament " Yes I saw you. You where there. You even went as far as praying in the shrine" I had never went to that shrine in UB during the strike. Rather while I was at my first year I went into it to pray against its powers. I think that my HOD only had a spiritual encounter with me while my God was at work. fellow Cameroonians, let us turn back to Jesus, Rexon we cannot fight this battle on our own. God has started the fight. Let us leave it in his hads so he would complete it. the reason why we suffer is that as a Nation we have rejected God. We need to come back to Jesus. Not with religious pretention but with the commitment of our intelect emotions and will. Let Jesus reign in Cameroon. Amen
I think dig jeo is saying that the university community has again lost some students. Last night things were tough. The police in its murderous rage invaded the university metropole with gun shots and tear gaz that has resulted to the death of about tree student. Can you imagine that?
Its getting tough in Buea. It is allerged that during the exessive gun shots yesterday, some students died(about 3). This is shameful to ournation. Indeed the heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart. How could a nation like our still let things go to such an extent? This is heart bbreaking. I am so angry about this.
