I was just praying and the Lord led me to
2 Chronicles 30:6-9
So couriers went throughout all Israel and Judah with letters from the king and his princes, as the king had commanded, saying, “O people of Israel, return to the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may turn again to the remnant of you who have escaped from the hand of the kings of Assyria. Do not be like your fathers and your brothers, who were faithless to the Lord God of their fathers, so that he made them a desolation, as you see. Do not now be stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the Lord and come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever, and serve the Lord your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you. For if you return to the Lord, your brothers and your children will find compassion with their captors and return to this land. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.”
I truly believe you will be healed, Steph. Our God works so lovingly! Just believe.
Work Hard, Play Hard
Surgery was six (eight) days ago. Oooooh, my Doctor lied when he said this surgery was going to be as easy as the last one. Liar! Good thing he's the nicest doctor I've ever had, or I might have gone al yo-mama on his buns. So, Thursday (the 31st) was intense. My MIL stayed the night and ...
Steph,
I will pray for you right now. I will ask that our Lord Jesus heal you completely and that you will see His love and mercy through the healing. Matthew 7:7 says "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Our pastor always says - "If you ask not, you will get not," and he is RIGHT! I will ask and BEG our Lord to heal you girl - and if we both believe it, He WILL! All you need is the faith of a mustard seed. <3 Much love from North Carolina.

Meg, you and Evie are so precious to me. I thank the Lord so often that He put you two in my life, and I just love you so much. I hope that the next week(s) are wonderful as you await Luna's arrival. I have a package for the three of you [not quite] ready for shipment straight to IOWA!!! I plan on mailing it early next week if I can't get to it tomorrow.
I just want you to know that I love you and Ev, and baby girl Luna so darn much. Not sure what kind of woman I would be if you hadn't come into my life. Love you, love you, love you. You will make an AMAZING Mama and Evan will be an AWESOME Daddy. <3 Please, keep me posted.
Lots of love, kisses, hugs, and prayers coming your way from me.
Baby: Week 38
You never know. This might be the last belly update! I've heard that typically, first time pregnancies go a bit beyond 40 weeks. But I know of a few people that had babies recently that had them around this time! Now, the phrase that people have been saying to me for so long, "Any time now!" -...

Hi guys! Big news today. Nope, it's not a baby. Sorry! It's something equally as amazing and life changing... Next Monday, April 30th, I will be going to the hospital in Oakland for part 1 of 2 in Project: Violet Walks Again. When I was younger, I used to wear a prosth...

Baby: Week 34
I'm pretty sure that around this point in pregnancy, you become the stereotypical pregnant woman. The waddle begins. The guzzling of the liquids is in full force. Occasional body aches and regular heartburn are pretty much happening. The scale is telling me numbers I'd never seen before! And i...
Yummy! Banana Bread is one of my FAVORITE things to bake!!! :)
Gluten-Free Banana Bread
I bought a exorbitant amount of bananas last week because Roman had been enjoying them with his breakfasts, but then he decided that they weren't cool anymore. I had six bananas that were lookin' a bit spotty (like the the bottom one), so it was either bake or trash time. Seeing as I hate to ...
I very much enjoyed reading your "About" section Steph. Your story is such an uplifting and encouraging one, and its funny, God put that on my dashboard today - - and I really, truly needed it. Thank you for always being honest. Whether it's serious stuff, funny stuff, or baby stuff, I appreciate your honesty. :)

"About" Page Update!
These boys think that you should click on the the "About" button to the right. -----> I've been writing that page for a few weeks (and in my head for a very long time) and I know that it's almost a novel. In fact, half way through I thought it might be easier to just WRITE a novel. If yo...

We Are Feeling
Simply: This little boy has changed not only our lives, but our hearts as well. When people used to tell me that everything would be different after a baby, I'd brush it off. It's really true, though, in the best way possible. In a way you probably didn't even know WAS possible. O...

My lovely friend Leigh-Ann recently posted a neat little post entitled, well, what this post is titled. I thought it might be a quick way to tell a few things about me that you might not know! 1. I have an art room FULL of supplies but am too scared (that I'll make something ugly or stupid) to ...
