have any 1 saw the Outlander? there's an Alien monster called Moorwen which is even cooler than the thenator!!! watch it when it prepares to attack. it's Bio-luminescence is great!

No matter 2D or 3D, Avatar the movie itself is great in all extends. though I felt lil difficulties of some focus issues in IMAX 3D but then again those high tech monitors, ashes, water drops, tentacles of the soul tree can not be seen this realistic in 2D, you'll miss those things if not seen it in 3D. apart from that the movie is so epic that you can't get time for judging its 2D/3D difference. I'm eagerly waiting for the sequel.

not a vampire film but the same genre I guess. virus spread & infects human population well almost the same. any way I think u got the point anyway. lucky that u haven't seen Day breakers yet!

after watching Avatar, any new film is quite unpleasing to watch now. cause the quality of most of the films is ... & the the bar of expectation has raised. last night I watched Day Breakers & WTH!! it was so incomplete! lack of details & no actual story just some vampire films rip off form here & there joined together & that is even done weakly. while watching it was reminding me of 'I am legend'. how great the film was done & the story was so deep & not to mention how great was Will Smith in there. even the dog acted better than anyone in Day Breakers! it was really so emotional when Will had to kill Sam. I don't think any Vampire film had been done better than 'I am legend'.

by the way Luke Wilson(My Super Ex-Girlfriend) played the role of Jim Stanton (voice) the hero of the film 'Terra'.

Actually there's a great room left to improve Terra's screenplay & story without changing the main story & make it a live action 3 hours epic movie.
it would be great if someone like Ridley Scott or Spielberg would make this film ' Battle for Terra'.
N.B. J.C. will be busy with his Avatar sequel so he's not in the list.

Dune! Terra goes more with Avatar than Dune.
by the way the film is enjoyable & not that in depth but still good.
& of course u can find the Colonel Miles Quaritch's twin brother in this one & that's General Hemmer (voice by Brian Cox). some of the other voice credits are like
Evan Rachel Wood(The Wrestler, Across the Universe) as Mala, Chris Evans(Sun shine, Fantastic 4) as Stewart Stanton, Justin Long(Die Hard 4.0), Mark Hamill(Star Wars), Danny Glover (Lethal weapon series), Dennis Quaid, Ron Perlman(Hell Boy) & more.

'Battle for Terra' a good animation film with some logical flaws (that's acceptable when watching those cute flying alien)
the basic theme is similar to Avatar, but ended differently & too quick.
anyone saw this movie? should watch it if u r a regular visitor of this site :)

in time Avatar will be withdrawn from the theater naturally :(
but it doesn't make any difference, Avatar is & will be the best sci-fi/ fantasy/ adventure film of all time. until another movie of this caliber comes out & share the crown & most probably that will be Avatar 2 :)

Does anyone feel sad that AVATAR lost it's crown to Dear John? I don't because it's a known fact that AVATAR is wayyyyy better! All of those who went to Dear John are mostly teenage girls.
I have seen all the trailers & extras of Avatar available on the net. this 1 doesn't seems new to me (compilation of clips available on trailers/extras). yes the song is great. its called 'My name is Lincoln' from the soundtrack of 'The Island' (a film by Michael Bay! & the film is great too!).

I saw Terminator Salvation because it was Terminator & Christian Bale was in it. I knew li'l about Sam Worthington though I've already seen 2 of his films but didn't recognised him in T4! yes he was demanding attention in T4 & I knew this guy's going to be a star soon. 2 of his earlier films that I've watched are Macbeth & Rogue.

"Avatar" loses box office crown to "Dear John"
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - It had to happen sometime, but nobody expected the biggest film of all time to lose its North American box office crown this weekend to "Dear John", a low-budget "chick flick" with a pair of little-known stars.
now this has made me feel very sad though I knew it had to happen some time but not this soon. :(

De Caprio is one of the talented actor of the next generation with real star value after all those great actor who got old now! & he's still kicking ass with some good movies. can't say he's a fool! didn't expected it from Steve! don't loose ur cool buddy!
