I can't believe that a giveaway could make me cry! I have been praying for God to help me show my two sons, 13 and 9, how fortunate we are and how much God has given us. They are so wrapped up in the "toys" of this world and what their friends have that they don't. I have been thinking about a new way to approach the Christmas season this year. I wanted something more than just a chocolate candy for each day of Advent. Last year I learned of the Jesse Tree from a few of my friends and other blogs. I had forgotten about it as I began planning this year. Yes, I am a planner too! I think it is the perfect thing to instill a understanding of Christ and his life and how it relates to us today. I want them to KNOW him and to know the ultimate gift that was given to us. All other "toys" are meaningless. Thank you for adding the Jesse Tree to your giveaways!

Vicki, I have found a big correlation between the games and such and behavior problems. We take weeks off at a time. They get them back and things are ok for awhile. But now they know these things are a privilege that are directly related to their behavior. I have no problems pulling them at any time.

Lovely to see you pictures and read about your journey. We too put together a performance of Shakespeare, doing The Comedy of Errors. The children simply blew me away with their love of the words and the gusto with which they approached their roles. You can see our pictures on my log. We will be doing Taming of the Shrew this fall to run the same weekends as the adult version, with me directing both! Yes, I am crazy! I am inspired to follow your lead and plan a Spring production in a garden as well. Thank you for sharing!
