I am in love with that castle - I want to go - you can see the little village & everything. I love birthdays as a general rule. They don't have to belong to me - just anyones birthday gets me in a tizz. Once I find out when a person's birthday is I try to remember it -it goes on my calendar/organiser. I think I may be verging on the obsessive. Of course, now and again I forget a birthd...
Totally love my book - am itching to make some yummy cupcakes with frosting. My lovely in laws sent me vouchers for Captain Cooks so I am gonna get myself a palette knife & some other baking essentials and I shall blog my creations asap - will make you some when you come over next!!

We happened to be in York when the Ebor races were taking place, but where's the novelty in watching horses race, I ask you? The fabulous G & R took us to The Farmer's Cart for lunch and the alternative E-boar races for an afternoon of hilarity and cheering on our pigs. Perhaps not so dignified ...
