I have used the Hippo & Friends Dies on several cards lately, but this time I used the coordinating Hippo Happiness stamp set. This is a photopolymer stamp set and two step stamping which are favorites of mine! There are cute sentiments to go with the hippo, butterfly, unicorn, and ewe! Check out my unicorn card here! And of course, I had to make another Scrappy Strip card. This technique is kind of addictive. One card has twine and the other doesn't. Which is your favorite? Stampin'Up! supplies are below and if you order from me, I will send you... Continue reading

Just had to try this Scrappy Strip Technique which originated with Bruno Bertucci, I think. Just google it, and he has a video. Yes, I am using the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper again. Get this great value of beautiful paper by placing an order of at least $150 to earn this paper by being your own hostess! I am using the Bunches of Fun stamp set again. Check out my previous post here where I shared three cards made with this set, AND using this paper on all three! And I am using the Hippo & Friends Dies... Continue reading

This is a cute set and it was on my wish list from the beginning of the new catty, but it had a typo in a sentiment, but it has been corrected! I used the hostess choice, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper for all three cards. It is a great value and I love the variety of the many different designs. Stampin'Up! supplies are below. If you order this set from me, I will send you a card made with it. The card with the 3 strips of designer series paper under the focal image, also has bunches of bananas... Continue reading

This bundle makes such delicious looking Christmas cookies, right? Thanks to Brian King, for the inspiration! I wanted to make a card for a customer that ordered this bundle, so this is what I created. Actually, I only used the Christmas Trimmings Dies, & not the stamp set, but you would want the savings by buying the bundle! Check out this bundle on page 89 of the Annual Catalog! I didn't know what sentiment to use so I used the Pampered Pets stamp set for the bottom card, and then the Sweet Strawberry stamp set for the top card. I... Continue reading

I used all four items in the "In The Wild Suite" on page 44 & 45 of the Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog. I love one number ordering for a suite, but right now in July, the In the Wild Designer Series Paper is on sale. Check out the sale flyer here, Download 07.01.21_FLYER_DSPSALE_US You can die cut your tigers right from the designer series paper. This is my first time to use my Hippo Happiness stamp set (Gasp! I know right?) and the coordinating Hippo & Friends Dies. I love making cards for my many grandkids! I made my colored "trails" by brushing ink between post it notes. They also have Wink of Stella, but it is hard to see, but they are sparkly in real life. And of course, I love making clouds, so made them with the Basic Borders Dies again. This unicorn has a Silver Foil horn, but I have changed it to a Gold Foil horn. I like it better but... Thank you to Brenda Quintana for the measurements of this card. This was the challenge for a facebook group I am part of. We did not have to use her measurements, but I also wanted my card to fit a medium envelope. I think the original name for this card is Pinwheel Tower Card, or maybe it is Tower Pinwheel. I may try to do a video, but here is Brenda's. Video here: https://youtu.be/SbRFL5nLi-Q?t=598 This is a lot easier than I thought it would be. The hardest part is figuring out which designer series paper to use, and then which... Continue reading

These dies are new and easy to miss in the new annual Stampin'Up! catalog! But they really are easy to use, and it will be fun to try different stamp sets with it. Measurements for my Whale Done cards and the supply list are below the video. If you are making the Stellar Birthday card, then there is a slightly larger layer behind the die cut designer series paper. The video is a little rough. I am new at this. I remembered to turn the sound off on my phone, but forgot to remind hubby, so you can hear him... Continue reading

I combined four stamp sets for this card! Our oldest daughter has been wearing caps for a year now, because of several surgeries on her scalp. My card base is 4.25" x 11", scored @ 4.25 and 5.5. My designer series strip is 1 x 4, and other layers are 4 x 4 and/or 3-7/8" x 3-7/8". It is 7 x 8.5, scored @ 3.5. This size fits into a regular business envelope. The Merry Merlot layer is 8.25" x 3.25. Click here to see several other cards... Continue reading
