I was going to make some Easter cards but I really like the sentiments in the Grace's Garden stamp set. I am playing with it, and will maybe do an Easter one yet. I will switch to the Thick Basic White card stock though, for the arbor. The butterflies are from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Some I fussy cut, some were punched with the Butterfly Duet Punch, and some were die cut with the Brilliant Wings Dies. I was just seeing what I could use/do. I thought so many of you probably earned the Oh So Ombre designer... Continue reading

The multi-colored butterflies are die cut from the Stampin'Up! Butterfly Bijou 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper with ONE die cutting all six at once. The solid colored detailed butterflies are die cut individually with separate dies, and the stamped butterflies are all stamped with the one stamp, but die cut with the one die! Stamp 6 butterflies at once and die cut them with one die! The Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and the Brilliant Wings Dies WILL be in the next annual catalog, BUT the coordinating designer series paper and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper are only available while... Oh, my gosh, I love this stamp set! Why did I wait so long to use it? I could have used the High Tide water ripple stamp, but I wanted to use the stamps in this set. I just masked off the ground, then inked and stamped just the bottom of the same stamp as the ground image, onto my card base for the water. I hadn't decided on my sentiment when I created this card, so I would have left more room for the words. I will just stamp less trees for my next card. I also masked my... Continue reading

Which do you like better? The Pool Party card base with the Crumb Cake sentiment rectangle or the Pool Party sentiment rectangle? I stamped crooked, so filled in with the bottom of the tree stamp. I did stamp a little crooked on the first card, so I may cover that up, too. I used the Happy Thoughts stamp set with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I do love nature stamps and these are REVERSIBLE! On one side for example are the birds, and the other side is a small cloud. The trees or the mountains have a solid side. I only... Continue reading

I have made several cards with this Side Fold. It uses a 4 x 4 square of designer series paper, so you can get many cuts from a 12 x 12 sheet of dsp. I used the FREE Sale a Bration Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper for my side strip, and the 4 x 4 panel The 2 x 3 piece behind the chicken is from the 6 x 6 Dandy Garden designer series paper. Notice the chicken wire? I stamped directly on my dsp with the All Wired Up Background stamp, and I added the Ladybug Trinket with a... Continue reading

These are very quick and simple to make! Which one do you like better? The Blushing Bride or the Seaside Spray? Notice the shimmer on the embossed layer? I sponged some Frost White Shimmer Paint VERY LIGHTLY, trying to just swipe the raised details. This stamp set and the embossing folder are part of the Sand & Sea Suite Collection, which includes the dies, Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper, Pearlescent Specialty Paper, Opal Rounds, and Seaside Shells Sticker Sheets, which can be ordered with ONE number. You can also order the items individually. If some of the items are... Continue reading

These Slide and Lock cards are addictive! And really not as difficult as you would think! I was inspired by Karen Titus, and Lisa Curcio, who are two very talented Stampin'Up! demonstrators! You can use different sizes for your sliding piece, but mine is 3" x 3", scored in half on two of the 4 squares. Adhere the two folded in half pieces to one of the unscored squares, with the folds meeting in the center, as shown above. Then add your 4th square to the top, and you end up with it looking like photo #6. Decorate as desired... Continue reading

Made these for Valentine Treat Favors for my day care kiddos. One is obsessed with dinosaurs, so did use some retired designer series paper on his. These are pretty quick to make. The two step stamping for the shark eliminates coloring, and I love the Whale of a Time designer series paper. Stampin'Up! supplies are below the treat measurements. There is a little box on the inside, but you could probably just use mini glue dots to add your treat packet. Base: 8.75 x 2, scored @ 4 and 4.75 Punch both ends with a tag topper punch. DSP: 1-7/8"... Continue reading

I finally did a Slimline card! These cards fit inside a regular business envelope. I also sponged my chickens by covering them with a stencil made with the Birthday Chick Dies and the new Blending Brushes which are in the January-June Mini Catalog. The inside sentiment is included in the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. It says "you're still a spring chicken". Wonder who I will send it to? Stampin'Up! supplies are below the measurements, and if you order this bundle from me, I will send you a card made with it. Remember if you order in February, you may... Continue reading

I love making accordion cards! You can use more of the stamp images this way. I may change the wood looking accordion strip to a lighter wood look, or not. The Chick Dies include 19, yes, 19 dies. It even has a corn stalk with 4 each of the corn cobs and leaves to nest them in. If you don't have the Hey Chick stamp set already from 2017 Sale a Bration, you can get it again as a bundle. There are two fantastic (coordinating) bundles offered now, the Hey Chick Bundle and the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle! These bundles... Continue reading

This is such a cute, cute bundle! I love punches and the one punch does both the heart and the lips! The designer series paper is the Sale a Bration Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, which is part of a free choice with a $100 purchase. This treat favor holds the Candy Hearts Box. The "belly band" holds it in place, but you could use a mini glue dot if you wanted. I had also made some hot cocoa holders, but had to do more scoring with this box. Info for the treat box is below, and Stampin'Up! supplies below... Continue reading

Oh my gosh! This bundle is so much fun! It is another two step photopolymer, my 2 favorite stamp criteria! The inside stamp actually says "I love you!" but I used a marker and omitted the "I". You can add eyeglasses, mustache, hat, eyelashes, etc. Fun, fun! This bundle will be available to order on January 5th, so check back then. It is on page 46 of the Stampin'Up! I am in love with this Hydrangea Hill Suite! This suite is shown on pages 18-20 of the January-June Stampin'Up! Mini Catalog! I used all but the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate on these samples. The Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper is GORGEOUS! The Hydrangea Haven stamp set is a photopolymer, two step stamping set, which are both favorites of mine. The "splotchy" stamps give a water color look and are not meant to fit perfectly together. My leave die cut holds the first card closed. It is popped up with a dimensional. This suite is available to order... Continue reading

My daughter's anniversary is Jan. 1st, but their honeymoon was spent in a nice warm beach resort, so even though it is cold and snowy out, they did have a wonderful get away. I used a marker to "omit" the umbrella over the couple and also to not have the high heels. Do you like my clouds? I had made a mask of the water area so I just used that piece and sponged around it, moving it around and sponging again. I also sponged my sand. And I used brand new upcoming product from the Jan-June 2021 Stampin'Up! Mini... Continue reading

This paper carried over from last year's Holiday Catalog, and it is sooooo pretty! It is 6" x 6", with one side a photo like scene, and the other side has silver foil designs. I just stamped over the image with sentiments from the Wrapped Around Christmas stamp set or the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. I did use Wink of Stella on the pine cone, too. Stampin'Up! supplies are below. Just click to order. The Love of Leaves stamp set and the Stitched Leaves Dies are a fabulous bundle, but the bundle savings is only until January 4th. These products will be available in the Jan-June Mini Catalog, but won't be bundled. I die cut and embossed my leaf, by going through the die cut machine once. It is two dies, but you place the embossing one inside if you want that look! Or you can use the leaf frame only to die cut the stamped images. And I love the die that does the texture on the side of my card. It is... Continue reading
