Well, as we all have already heard, healthcare reform has passed. Probably not the reform you or I had hoped for, but tomorrow it will be in law. As I think about the tragic implications of this "historic" reform I have to think about exactly why it is tragic. It's not because it's going to financially break us all, and it will. I was approached this week to help with the design of an event whose aim will be to live for 24 hours completely devoted to Christ and extending His ministry. It should be pretty cool when we get it done and I'll post the final results for you then. But as I began to develop the campaign, I started by asking the question,"What would it look like to live 24 hours as Christ would?" Earlier this week I had the unique opportunity to read an original letter written by C. I. Scofield that was a response to a request for advice by Lewis Sperry Chafer. Chafer was apparently creating some sort of big chart on the Prophets to use as a teaching aid and wanted to know what Scofield thought about it.
