Nearly every time I check your blog you encourage me in some way to be myself, and live in truth- whatever it may be. I think I'm a better me for owning your books and reading your blog because I have resonated with your spirit. I think it just boils down to the way you live, you have stripped off the ugly in life and just said, "Nope, we're going to do things this way." It is a beautiful way....

He's undercover knitting out of a briefcase, killing needles like The Incredible Hulk. The hilarity....is endless.

I love you two omg! Can people get any more precious? You knit things, for a baby you've not yet met. I'm in dire need of Kleenex. You guys are like my all time favorite married people ever.

Thank you so much! Oh Happy Day!
That is some mighty tasty looking fabric! Designers seem to allows end up repeating themselves or becoming redundant, but you do not- you have the magic!

Looks lovely! I'm excited about the Scandinavian/70's influence in your designs, there's something very simple and sweet about that time period.

I'm totally getting a future homeschooler vibe here Alicia... I have at LEAST 10 books in rotation by my nightstand, and about that many next to my "spot" on the couch. :0)

I've noticed while teaching people to sew, or answering accusations about unfinished projects that the biggest hurdle to unleasing creativity is that little voice that says, "I should finish this first". You've got to get to it while the idea is in motion and give yourself permission to start something without knowing if it will ever be what it was in your imagination. I've finished quilts 10 years after I've started them. It's ok. There are no rules. :0)
