I don't know if they take more or less time, but they are way more enjoyable for me so the time seems to fly. Tiny pieces certainly take longer to put together. In this case, I mostly used pieces as they were or worked from strings. I like improv because I don't get bored and I love the spontaneous things that happen without my planning.
That's cause it's a community quilt and I'm trying to get them finished and out of the house!

Oh, I'm so glad you're back. I am going to read all the archives as soon as I get a chance. I got so much out of reading through Spirit Cloth from the very beginning. Can't wait for Cloth Whispering too!

Yes, I got some blocks for clamping, but only had two. I like that piece a lot too! I think that rust one was folded, but I wouldnt know how to reproduce it. Kristin
