It’s probably not a name we would use for ourselves, but the apostle Paul often called believers “saints” in the New Testament (Eph. 1:1; Col. 1:2). Did he call them saints because they were perfect? No. These people were human and therefore sinful. What then did he have in mind?... Continue reading

Things were off to a great start for Jesus at the beginning of His ministry. In Matthew 3, He was baptized and heard the affirming words of His Father, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (v.17). But then things took a turn for the worse.... Continue reading

The Stones That the Builders Rejected I am excited to share with you some wonderful news and ask for your support. This organization was founded by me just over a year ago, when I was living comfortably, making a six figure income. I had previously been homeless when the economy crashed. After being homeless for over a year I was restored and had gotten this awesome job at an auto dealership making six figures again. One day while I was sitting in my comfy office a voice said to me. “I didn’t save you to become a ‘Professional’ again. I have work for you to do.” Phase one. (Completed) I’ve spent the last year and 4 months developing this organization. I have developed a 22 course curriculum that addresses the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental issues that many homeless people face. I’ve gotten the licenses, the solicitation permits, the nonprofit status, and educated myself on the nonprofit world. This has built our infrastructure. Phase two Now it is time to secure a residence to house six men (GA state law maximum) that are currently homeless and unemployed. We will rent the house with the option to buy and as we acquire more financial reserves through grants, fundraisers and hard work, we will buy the property outright. I have found appropriate houses in suburban and rural settings of North Atlanta, importantly, away from the problems of the city. What we need ($10,000) $3,000 will go to the first months rent and deposit. $5,000 will furnish the house, provide training material and computers. $2,000 will be for food, household supplies, utilities, toiletries, etc. This organization will be self-sustaining. We will operate a call center that we will use to fund- raise, supply services to private businesses and other activities; an area in which I have experience. We are well on our way, and with your support there will be six less people on the streets each year, on their way to again being tax paying, child support paying, individuals that are no longer a drain on the system. i.e. jails, hospitals, shelters, and food stamp recipients. Please visit our website to read our story www.rejectedstones.org . We are a 501(c)(3). All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE Continue reading
