It's insane hearing someone blogging about PEI. It seems everyone has heard of it but no one has actually been there. Which is pretty pathetic since i live in Australia and I have been there twice - and it's about as far away from Australia as anywhere on earth! Isn't a gorgeous place though? I really love it there and the people are reallllllllly nice. Love reading your adventures - and hope you enjoyed the yummy Cows ice-cream (my Cows t-shirt is Moo-ivor - outgraze, out moo - 17 cows, 1 Moo-ivor. The herd has spoken!)

You dont have to have contributed tadpoles to be their Dad you know, Wil. You contribute to Ryan and Nolan's lives in ways that they and you probably wont get the true benefits of for many years. When they, themselves, are awesome fathers, they will have you to thank for that. Now I have to go and see if this game is available in Australia. My husband is SO UNCOOL insofar as he thinks I am a dork when I air guitar to ACDC and sing along to iTunes - invariably the daggier the song, the louder I sing. He thinks I am a complete bogan. If I have this game, I can be a BOGAN and be PROUD!! (BTW, in case you dont know what a bogan is, its a long haired, bad teeth guy from a dodgy suburb who has a well worn Metallica t-shirt....you know the ones I mean..... it's an Aussie slang word. And if you DID know....apologies!)

Anne, it is the kindness of people like yourselves that make it easier for people like ME to get up in the morning and beat this disease. I am now a two-time cancer survivor and I am watching my brother in law have his second fight with leukeamia, and I know that, rather than people's pity, I prefer they do something positive and constructive to help. Over here (in Australia) I encourage people to not only support research to find a cure, but organisations like CanTeen www.canteen.com.au which empowers and supports young people living with cancer. That includes patients, siblings and children of sufferers between 12-24. They give awesome support in both an emotional way but also by providing FUN in their lives, through cool activities. Your marathon effort - literally and otherwise, DOES make a difference and I am sure Kris and others value that. All the best!
