Yes, it was wonderful gathering. It was only 9 of us so fairly small group. My mom has alot of health issues (as do I) so we've had to cancel quite a few visits over the year. Thank you so much for your thoughtful expressions of my pages, too!!!

Thank you so much Alexa for your kind thoughts. Warm version salad? Would love to hear what you come up with. There are a plethora of options on Pinterest!

Thanks so much! I think if I'd read Ballet Shoes as a child I would have appreciated it more.
Hey Christine, I am sticking with my 4 x 8 album for 2020 and don't have any plans to print those review pages. If you look in my categories you'll see other ways, in past years I have documented my reading: 100 Books in 2018 I made 6 x 8 pages and inserted them into my About Me album. In 2017 I created 12 x 12 monthly pages of what I read. 2019 was 4 x 8, also. In 2016 I documented the 52 books I read in a 4 x 4 album. In 2015, the first year I documented what I was reading I simply made a 2-page, 12 x 12 and added the book cover into squares with no reviews. Hope this helps some.
Thanks Alexa! I loved the design, too. Design is Cathy Zielske's specialty. Love her templates for the clean and simple.

Glad you like the new format. I would have liked actually getting to talk about the House on Mango Street. I know the books we've read in my book club are so much - more - because we talk about them. I may not like it more but it definitely is memorable.

Carrie, thank you so much! It was such a spur of the moment project but with the help of an alarm on weekends it is going beautifully! I am trying to keep up each day and that is even working out. The clean and simple designs of these pages are my favorite.

I will send them when I get home. I don't have the file available right this moment.

Alexa, I saw SOMETIMES is a great one word prompt years ago as a way of capturing our stories. Try it! It's a great word prompt.

Alexa, I have learned that when changing our thoughts that we cannot simply let them go without replacing thoughts of better, such as gratitude, replacing fear.

Thanks Alexa! I actually have never finished the class completely but I'm hoping this year will be different. Plus, I love my word.

I think LEGO is supposed to be spoken/written in the singular but we've always just said LEGOs, in the plural, that I never know which way to write it. It was so good to get back to digital and make a page! It took my grandsons forever to 'like' LEGO but I'm so glad they have finally come around to the light.

Sammie, my grandson, and I are getting there. He still pulls away when he's exhausted but his eyes light up when he sees me. I did go ahead and apply to the design team but I haven't heard a peep so I imagine I wasn't selected. And, that is okay.

Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement. I still love digital and after doing some prep work for DD it was nice heading back into the digital realm.

Alexa, my heart skips with delight too! Thankful for your words.
I always head to your blog for your latest reads. You are one of my go-to 'book list' places I trust for recommendations. Beginning to put together a middle grade reading selection for my granddaughter and The Same Stuff As Stars and Jacob Have I Loved are going on the list. Congratulations on your baby!!!

Alexa, I think the 4th grade child in me attributed beautiful handwriting to left-handedness because my teacher made such a big deal out of it. Maybe she was over-compensating for all the times some parent or another teacher made a child switch to right-handed writing or eating.
