Chris, that's made of win.
Delurking for the first time in, oh, weeks, because I just have to share my favorite example of character swearing while the author keeps it PG. It's from one of Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe novels, can't remember which offhand: "Sharpe used the efficacious word." It's just perfect. I find the word in question efficacious myself on innumerable occasions.
@Ruby - I blog under my pen name at http://authorsusannafraser.blogspot.com/ I don't talk much about religion or politics there--it's mostly writing and reading with the occasional random food post.

My previous post should've been posted in the TF thread. I wasn't signed in from this computer, had to do so to post...and somehow it dumped me in this thread instead of the one I was in when I clicked the sign-in button. ::is confused. does not like being confused::
My prayers for you and your friend, Jason.
Testing my new login and icon... There was a big kerfuffle among romance readers and writers back in 2008 when it came out that prolific author Cassie Edwards had committed plagiarism. See summary here. I was stunned at the time how many readers and even authors didn't have a clear understanding of what plagiarism is or why it's wrong.
