Today is the release of Simon Says Stamp's special edition Halloween kit called Spook Up Some Fun (as part of their STAMPtember celebration). This kit is FULL of all things Halloween with so many options for making treat bags and tags and cards and anything else you can imagine. I kept my creations focused on the stamp set and made just cards to share with you today (one stamp, five ways!)... Here is an image of the kit: You can purchase the stamp set Spook Up The Fun by itself. I'm not much of a HW person, but I really like this stamp set as it's not creepy or scary, but very cute! Here are my five cards: CARD 1:... Continue reading

The Hello Bluebird new Fall release is live as of yesterday, so you can now shop to your heart's content at the Hello Bluebird store. The products should be available at Simon Says Stamp soon. All of the new products are listed in my supply list at the end of this post linked to the HB store. I have five cards to share with you that have all been posted on IG over the past few days. Card 1: This is my typical random stamping background. I use my Misti to do this and used MFT Natural Ink as it is my favorite for no-line stamping. I used the darling new Fall Banner Buddies stamp set since it has all... Continue reading

Simon Says Stamp just released their October Card Kit called Thankful Flowers. I have 5 cards to share with you today. This is a "one stamp, five ways" post, so I primarily focus on the stamp set in the kit (although I did use some of the other supplies in it, just not the papers). Here is an image of the full card kit: The stamp set is also called Thankful Flowers and it is sold alone as well. There is also a die for the stamp set so you can buy it alone HERE or together as a set HERE. Last, the THANKS die is sold alone as well which I used on two of my cards below. Here... Hello friends! I haven't been here much over the past month! I was in Hawaii for almost two weeks and now I am taking my daughter to school in Utah for a week, so that's 3 weeks I'll be gone in August, thus the only 2 blog posts! I will be back to your regularly scheduled program in September! In fact, there will be a Hello Bluebird release in early September AND it is STAMPtember for Simon Says Stamp, so I will have LOTS of posts and come back with a BANG! Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post that is really a "one stamp, six ways" post. I (((accidentally))) made six cards by counting wrong - haha.... Continue reading

Today is the first day of a two day blog hop celebrating the PPP new Fall product release. I have a blog post from the day the release went live HERE if you want to check out my other cards using the new line. Today I have three new cards to share with you! CARD1: I always make a bunch of backgrounds ahead of time, so I had this orange one just waiting to be used. It was made with Yupo paper and alcohol ink. I used the Storybook 3 die for this white part, but I cut out the lines that go between. So technically I could have used any of the Storybook dies to do this. It just... Continue reading

The Fall Pretty Pink Posh release is now available at the PPP store and at SSS. It is full of fun Fall stamp sets, stand a-lone dies, sequins, and their new stencils. You can purchase the entire release as a bundle here for 10% off. Here is an image of the release all together (click on it for a link to the release in the PPP store): I have two cards to share with you today using the new products. First is this card using the new Sunflowers stamps and Sunflowers dies. It also uses the Wafers Stencil for the background and the Spooky Fence Die. I started this card by using Distress Oxide Inks for the background. I used... Continue reading

Today (as of this minute on Friday, July 26th at 7:00 pst), Hello Bluebird released 6 new background stamps and also restocked the others that have been out of stock for some time. So they had a Background Bash this week with the design team showing off all of the new background stamps on Instagram. I wanted to show you the two cards I posted with directions as well as show you all of the background stamps stamped and colored. So let's get this party started! First, here are the six background stamps in action with directions on how I made each: This one is called Old Oak. It's perfect for all those critter stamps and fall backgrounds. I embossed... Here is an image: Today I'll be showing you all 12 of these cards all colored and made into cards (like I do on every new product blog post!). I also had two stamp sets that are part of this release - the new Seahorse Background stamp and the Never Quit Swimming stamp set. Hi friends! Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you using the brand new SSS card kit called Party Like A Panda. Here is an image of the kit: This kit has some darling patterned papers that I will be showing on all of my cards. It also has a 6x8" stamp set that I'll be focusing on that has matching dies and they can be purchased together. Today's "one stamp, five ways" post is using the brand new MFT Stacey Yacula stamp set called Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes. As usual, I love her darling illustrations and this is another perfect one for making lots of sweet cards! You can see the entire MFT New Release HERE. Here is an image of the stamp set: And here are my five cards! CARD 1: This set is just so cute that it was hard to not use all the images on each card! But for this one, I wanted to just let that darling penguin with the banner stand alone. So I used him with just the banner. And doesn't he look so cute as the star of the... Continue reading

Today (((right now at 7:00 pm pst))) the Hello Bluebird new release is LIVE! This means you can now go to the HB website and purchase all of the cute products I'll be using in this post! I love their stamps (dare I say they are my favorite designs in the industry - just so so me!). So rather than purchase every product they made, I joined the DT so I get them for free! That also gives me the excuse to spend way too much of my time coloring their cute images. Here is an example of my obsession: There are six new stamp sets in this release and I have cards made with each one (except Strawberry Jam),... Continue reading

Hi friends! Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you using the SSS July Card Kit called Bee Yourself. Here is an image of the kit: As usual, I focus on the stamp set in the kit (thus the title of the post) so most of my cards are using that over some of the other options in the kit. The stamp set is sold alone and is also called Bee Yourself (I would want this stamp set even if I didn't want the entire kit). It contains a glue sponge and foil as well as 3 laser printed cards you can use on your cards. I will confess that I did (((attempt))) to use... Continue reading

Today is the first day of a two day blog hop for the new Pretty Pink Posh summer product release. You can buy the entire bundle HERE at a discount. I think I've used the entire release on this post, so all of the new products are listed in the supply list at the end of this post linked to both the PPP store and the SSS store. Before I show you my new cards, here are two that I made for the product sneak with Tropical Toucans: (you can see the details of how I made them and additional photos on the PPP blog here) And here are my three new cards using other products from the new release:... Helllllllllo all you blog hoppers out there! Today is the first day of a two day celebration! SSS has released their newest set of products called Rest and Refresh. Sounds like what I need after making 12 cards to show you today haha. If you visited THIS POST from yesterday, I did a "one stamp, five ways" using the new stamp set called Your Light. I often do additional cards in my "one stamp, five ways" posts, but I've never done less than 5! So today, I had to call this post a "one stamp, four ways" as I just didn't have time to crank out one more card! BUT, hopefully I will make it up to you by impressing you with the four cards I did make haha! Here is an image of one of the newest stamp sets by MFT called Picnic Pals by Stacey Yacula: And here are my four cards! Card 1: My first card is a slimline card with measurements that are 3.5" x 8.5" on the front of the card. You can make one with an 8.5" x 11"... Continue reading

I've done three other posts about making card backgrounds ahead of time. You can find those HERE, HERE, and HERE. Today is my fourth installment in this series. It's become a "series" because I love doing it this way! Whenever I have a few backgrounds made, I find putting together a card is so much easier and quicker. Plus focusing on creating backgrounds while the Distress Inks are all out is a fun way to spend an afternoon! Today's focus is going to be on creating scenes for critters with Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks and stencils. I'll be using 3 Simon Says Stamp stencils today. Here is a lookie at them with short descriptions - these things are... Continue reading

Today is the first day of the Simon Says Stamp blog hop for their new release called Celebrate You. As you have probably seen thus far on the hop, it is full of products that celebrate father's, birthdays, etc... I have a new set of watercolor cards in this release called Celebrate Dad. Here is an image: I have colored all of these watercolor cards to show you how they will look all perdied up! I don't always use watercolor on them even though they are printed on Ranger Watercolor Paper. Sometimes I use colored pencils or Copic markers, or a combo off all three! Let's get started and I'll give you some of my tips to dress them up... Continue reading

Today is the Simon Says Stamp new release called Celebrate You. It is full of birthday, Father's Day, and floral products. I have a new set of watercolor cards in this release called Celebrate Dad. Here is an image: This is the first time I have drawn a boy/man set of cards. It was a bit of a challenge for me as I gravitate towards girly flowery images! I will have them all painted on my blog during the blog hop tomorrow if you want to see them all done. I tried some new creative things with the cards this time to inspire you to use the designs in different ways. Today's "one stamp, five ways" post uses one of... Continue reading

Hello friends! Today's "one stamp, five ways" post is using the Simon Says Stamp June 2019 Card Kit called Leafy Frames. Here is an image of the kit: As usual, I try to focus on the stamp set which is also called Leafy Frames and can be purchased by itself HERE. Let me just tell you that the papers in this kit are phenomenal! I don't usually like using patterned papers on my cards, but these I could not resist. The only problem was I didn't want to cover any of them up! The papers are by Carta Bella and called Botanical Gardens and can be purchased alone HERE in a 6x6 pad. I have five cards and some envelopes... Continue reading

Today is the MFT new release and one of the stamp sets in it is called Foxy Friends by Stacey Yacula. I did a "one stamp, five ways" post today using this cute stamp set. I have five cards to share with you. I've also used the MFT Scene Builder stamp set for a few of these cards. It works so well for backgrounds. CARD 1: I started with a die cut Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Die-namics (which doesn't seem to be sold anymore so no link!). Next, I used the Scene Builder stamp set to stamp the grass, trees, and clouds with MFT Natural Ink. I then colored them in with colored pencils. I was so happy... Continue reading
