Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post using the Simon Says Stamp May card kit called Beautiful Butterflies. As usual, I focus on the stamp set which is also called Beautiful Butterflies and sold alone. There are dies for the stamp set as well, although I didn't have them, so mine are fussy cut (and you can tell!). You can also buy the paper alone and it is so gorgeous - I used it on a few of my cards. Here is an image of the kit: CARD 1: My first card uses my favorite technique I call "random stamping". I've told you before and I'll say it once again; I love puzzles which is why I enjoy... Continue reading

Hello my masked, staying home, lysol wiped friends! These are CRAZY times without a doubt, but there is always something positive to find in any situation. My positive is getting more crafting time! Today is the new My Favorite Things release and I was so excited to play with two of the new stamp sets. I have a card to share with you using Always Bring A Smile and another slim-line card using Hanging With My Gnomies. Can I just say right up front that I have no idea what a Gnomie is or why they are suddenly popular in the stamping world, BUT I absolutely adore them. I love elves and collect Christmas ones and I played with a... Continue reading

Hi friends! Today is the first day of the Simon Says Stamp new release called Sunny Days Ahead. That statement could definitely have 2 meanings and in my life it is currently the less desired one. It is SO sunny here - in the 90's this week and breaking all kinds of heat records. And I live a mile from the beach, but can't go - wahhh (I know, I know - I deserve no sympathy). But I, like most of you, am looking forward to the second meaning which is things improving on the health front. But enough of that - this is a happy blog hop! So let's get started... I have a new set of watercolor cards... Continue reading

Hello friends! Today I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you using the BRAND NEW special edition card kit by Simon Says Stamp called Celebrating Mothers. These special edition kits sell out fast - just a warning because I care about you and what you want - hahaha (but true). This kit has a beautiful stamp set that I focused on called Mom's Meadow. Here is an image of the kit and the stamp set: CARD 1: I started this card by stamping the large grouping of flowers in the stamp set on the top and the bottom with white embossing powder. I added some of the smaller flowers to fill in around the grouping. I... Continue reading

We have waited quite a while for another Hello Bluebird release (as I live for them haha!) and this one did not disappoint. With all of the "crazy" going on, it took a lot of time to bring this release to fruition and the dies are shipping a little after the stamps, but should be here soon. I personally fussy cut all mine out and it was so easy I might have to stop buying dies. I think I'm the only person who enjoys it though! I made four cards with the new sets, so let's get started! CARD 1: PICKED FOR YOU I made this card using the new Picked For You stamp set. I started by making the... Continue reading

Hi friends! Today I am a guest designer for the Pinkfresh Studio March 2020 Essentials Slim Cuts Release Blog Hop!!! I'm so happy you came to visit today. I think they asked me to participate (my first time with Pinkfresh) because I make so many slim-line cards. And I was very happy to get a chance to get my hands on these amazing new dies as Pinkfresh is the first company that I am aware of that has come out with dies for slim-line cards. Here is an image of all of the new dies: Today I have 2 cards to share with you using the new dies and some Pinkfresh Studio stamps. CARD 1: My first card uses the... Continue reading

Today is the release of the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit called Follow the Rainbows. I have a "one stamp, five ways" post to share with you today, but it doesn't really qualify for that title. I think I should retitle this post "one kit, six ways"! I usually focus on the stamp set in a kit, but this time I have 4 of my watercolor cards in the kit, so I am using those as well which got me to 6 cards. Here is an image of the kit: There are several items that are sold alone in the kit including the 4x6" stamp set which is also called Follow the Rainbows. The Clouds for Days stencil is... Today is the newest MFT release and I have two cards to share with you using the newest stamp set by Stacey Yacula called Sky High. Here is an image of it: I think this one is so so cute (but I think ALL of her sets are so so cute which is why I work with them each month!). I wanted to make more cards with it, but I only got 2 done this time. Hopefully their cuteness factor will make this a quality over quantity post haha. CARD 1: My first card is a slim-line horizontal card. The measurements are 3.5" tall x 8.5" wide. I cut another piece to fit on the front and took 1/4" off... Continue reading

Today I have a Hello Bluebird birthday card to share with you (or should I say bird-day card!). I'll be using several HB stamp sets including Banner Buddies (small bird), Garden Friends (sentiment, large birds, musical notes), Field Mice (large mushroom), Strawberry Jam (worm), and Storybook Friends (small mushroom). For the background I used the Meadow Background cling rubber stamp. And last, for the banner I used the Vertical Banner Die. I'm back today with another "one stamp, five ways" blog post using the brand new Simon Says Stamp Special Edition Valentine 2020 kit. Yesterday's post was using the regular SSS card kit for February. Today's kit will not be in stock long as the SE kits always sell out quickly. So if you are interested in it, just know you need to make a quick decision regarding buying it. Here is an image and it is packed full of all kinds of products that I didn't get a chance to use on my 5 cards below (such as the little white bags and the small envelopes). I'll be focusing primarily on the stamp set in the kit which is a... Continue reading

I often post Hello Bluebird cards on Instagram without doing a blog post about how I made them. I have quite a few holiday cards from this year that I haven't blogged. So today I will be blogging LOTS of them, but I'll keep the directions short so as not to overwhelm anyone! If you have any questions about anything, just leave them in the comments and I will answer pronto. At the end of the post, I have all products that I have used linked to both the SSS store and the HB store. Many of the stamps I used are out of stock, but will be back in shortly. They are very popular stamps and my favorites in... Continue reading

Luckily, this kit took advantage of all of the glittery supplies I still have out! Here is an image of the kit: You can purchase just the stamp set which is called Snowflake Builder also HERE. The snowflake die is also sold alone HERE. I focus primarily on using the stamp set for my cards. Card 1: I think I have... Continue reading
