Click to Play What is God really like? Throughout the pages of Scripture God is called many names. Some of the names He gives himself and those who have witnessed His work give other names. Each name is significant because it describes an attribute of His character and His power. Want to know what God is like? Know His names. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 Message by Chad Moore © 2010 Sun Valley Community Church Continue reading

Every weekend is "GAME TIME" and this a great reminder how to encourage and support your team, especially when things get a little tense. As leaders, we must always be positive, have a plan "B" or look at God's plan "B', look for solutions and smile all at the same time. I am not a big football person, and these principles are one to live by! 1) Slap your teammates on the butt. No one does it better than Favre. Great leaders are great encouragers! They go around slapping people on the butt, figuratively speaking of course! Love the way... Continue reading

Today was a great day at Sun Valley! Scott and Chad did a recap of 2009 and talked about what is new for 2010. The part of the service that got me chocked up each time, was to see all the people who were baptized stand up and then see the same people stand who started/finished Foundations! Seeing life change is always a humbling reminder that it is such a a privileged and honor to serve our great God! This video is will bring tears to your eyes! Enjoy! Continue reading

I love it when we take a weekend and talk about all the things that God in the previous year. 2009 was a fruitful year for Sun Valley! There were over 600 people baptized, hundreds for first time decisions to follow Christ, 200 people renewed their wedding vows, many took at step to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus going through Foundations, and on and on! I was truly amazed by all the life change. There was never a weekend that went by that you did not hear a story of how God is working in their life. As... Continue reading
