Amy, ditching the pacifier was surprisingly easy. It took 2-3 days. We started with only at night/nap. Then we took it away for sleeping too. I thought she would throw more of a hissy fit but perhaps since we were denying it at non-sleeping times she just got used to it. I cant take any credit for making it happen. It was all Lewis.

From baby to big girl ... from single words to full sentences (this morning she asked, "May I be excused?" after breakfast) ... from Älmhult to Portland ... from dagis to preschool ... from ducky at night to not being able to leave the house without one of her buddies ... from shy to little ham ...
I don't either, Vanessa. And I don't have any more tears. I'm looking forward now, too, and can't wait for our stateside rendezvous.
