Tonight I created a card with a couple of my Whipper Snapper Designs stamps, and thought I’d share the inspiration with you. I used Potted Gnome Girl, and a sentiment from Everyday Sentiments cling mount set (it’s stamped inside the card) to create this cheerful card, with a whole lotta sparkle and shine! The image is stamped on a cotton paper, colored with Zig Clean Color water based brush markers, with Glitter Dust added for sparkle. If you would like to see the creation process of this card, you’re in luck! I uploaded a video. 🙂 Continue reading

It is an “old is new” day for the Impression Obsession team, where we feature older products in the Impression Obsession catalog. Not only do we love featuring older images, but also showing you how you can breath new life into images you may already have in your stash! We hope you're inspired! The card I created for today’s inspiration is called Love Angel, and is a darling image! I also used the What If sentiment, one of my all-time favorite IO sentiments. The images are stamped on watercolor paper, painted with Da Vinchi watercolor pigments, set on a layer of silver glitter cardstock and mounted to a pink card base. Then, I spritzed the entire card with Glitter Dust spray, and added some Stickles glitter glue for even MORE sparkle and shine! I love it! Be sure to pop over to the Impression Obsession blog for a full list of the designers participating in today’s inspiration, and visit the Impression Obsession website for a full catalog of rubber stamps and dies! And, I made a video of the creation of this card. Enjoy! Continue reading

The Impression Obsession design team is featuring dies as the main focus for our inspiration projects today. I created this Folk Art Snowflake card that has a sweet country design to it! I cut the snowflake from a heavyweight white card stock and adhered it to a piece of kraft colored card stock that I stamped the Grunge Cover-a-Card background stamp on, as well as some script text for added visual interest. I used Caramel hybrid ink for the stamped images. I adhered the card front to a piece of brown glitter paper, which I then adhered to a kraft card base. Good day, friends! Today is the second day of the Impression Obsession Slim Scenes Stamp Release Hop. Each day (October 15th & 16th) at 6:00am EST you can find a list of participating designers on the Impression Obsession Blog. For my card today, I am featuring Norway Spruce, Winter Greetings, and Tree Line Layers. I stamped Norway Spruce in several colors of green and brown ink. I stamped the Tree Line Layers in a smokey blue ink, with the ink concentrated towards the top of the tree line. I stamped the Winter Greeting in black ink, after adding a few light layers of ink to create snow below the tree. Finally, I added a few die cut birds, cut from an antique gold glitter card stock. I really love the vintage look of this card. So fun! The Impression Obsession design team is featuring dies as the main focus for our inspiration projects today. I started by creating a tag base with a layer of black card stock and patterned paper using Stitched Tag. This tag set comes with the decorative top, which I cut from black glitter card stock. I created some witch legs using the Boots and Stockings die set. I colored her stockings with markers, and cut her shoes from black glitter card stock. I created her skirt by spritzing some patterned paper with water, shaping it into a skirt, and adhering it over top of the legs. A quick bow serves as a belt, and I added a small Spider Web cut from white glitter paper, for some extra sparkle and shine.
