Oh, I'd love some new scissors. With 2 kids who LOVE cutting anything & everything, my scissors have seen better days. And, yes, I hate tools that don't work properly. Just bought a new box of pins & they need to almost be hit with a hammer to get them through fabric. What are manufacturers thinking?????

What a great looking set of tools. If you can believe it, I need replacement pins. Those darned things are so frustrating. Can't believe a company would actually make pins one has to struggle with to get through fabric. And, sad to say it, but having won many a needle & thread race as a kid (no kidding) I now need a threader. The eyes just aren't as sharp as they used to be. And I have no idea what I would need beeswax for, but once I find out, I guess I'll need that too. Kayajoy

I've seen this book before & it's gorgeous. Would love to win a copy. I'm actually, at this very moment, procrastinating with a slew of spoonflower fabric around me on the floor. Planning to finally make a duvet cover & pillow cover for my son (with some of Zesti's fabulous "dragon boy" fabric & my "castle blocks"). Just can't decide whether to keep it simple or do more of a real patchwork style. Kayajoy.
