Chocolate and Pear Clafouti Recipe
Like I said last week, clafouti is my comfort food. Usually I stick to the original Julia Child recipe My most recent clafouti was from a recipe by Jules at Stonesoup. Her chocolate clafouti was delicious but I wanted a little more texture. Chocolate and pear are a recognised food match....

one of the good parts about that tomato recipe is because you're stuffing the tomatoes and baking them, they don't have to be perfect. an average tomato-on-the-vine will still taste delicious :)

Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event. It was a nice change of pace and a little challenge for me. TDF turned out great, as usual - glad I was a part of it.

Your post for TDF was great, Chris. Do make the tomato recipe - I was just thinking that I have tomatoes to use & leftover baguette for breadcrumbs. Might be my dinner tonight!

not just for winter
Lentils are a year round thing for me. So easy to prepare, filling, packed with protein...but my favorite thing about them is their versatility. Most people think of heartier, cold weather dishes when it comes to lentils but I truly enjoy them in salads and cold preparations just as well. They...

heaven in a bowl
So a long time ago...in what seems like a part of Atlanta far, far away....my dear friend Susy invited me to have lunch with her at a sushi place near her office. The building she works in...it feels like it might as well be in Tennessee, folks. It's a true testament to our friendship that I d...
