Cheers Kelly! Yes, so many positives at the moment. However, I only hope that as the blogosphere gets more sophisticated it doesn't lose its charm and humility :)

Thanks for your question Daiana - apologies for delay in getting back to you, for some reason Typepad didn't alert me of your comment. I'm always happy for my material to be shared for genuine reasons, as do most bloggers I'd imagine. This issue is when some unscrupulous 'bloggers' take other people's full articles and pass the copy off as their own. For your purposes Daiana - more than happy for you to share and recommend!

Thanks Craig, those two fears you mention are definitely well and truly entrenched, and until they learn to deal with them I'm afraid there are going to be a lot of companies that will become even more disconnected from the marketplace in coming years. The risk then is distrust and irrelevance, not to mention putting themselves at risk of competing with savvy, agile startups. I see a time when the best and brightest young talent will only work for companies that are socially connected, respected, relevant and that operate with passion and purpose. It's not about Twitter, it's a cultural mindset shift.

Thanks for stopping by David. What a brilliant week you have coming up - very envious! Interesting that Amanda co-lives in both Boston and Melbourne, our respective home cities.

Thanks for stopping by Molly. I think the challenge as more and more companies start using content as a means of marketing their brand will mean incredible competition in the search stakes! Hence, it's probably better to get in early and build up some solid Google juice now.
