Get ready for a bloody race in the cool and fun-addicting game Happy Wheels!
A Review of Happy Wheels When it comes to games, there's a fairly solid division between those that are good and those that are bad. Good games control well, have a great story, and are a great deal of fun. Bad games are, well, bad - there's something wrong with the game that makes it less than fun to play. Happy Wheels is free online game and however, is neither. It is a genuinely horrible game that is, somehow, addictive. It does everything wrong, but that somehow makes it just that much more fun to play. Happy Wheels puts you... Continue reading

World of IO Games: Slither.io
Slither.io launched in the United States back on March 30th, 2016. The developers were not expecting their free-to-play browser-based title to explode the way it did, but today there are thousands of players still enjoying the game on a near daily basis. Due to their low expectations, the development team decided not to pay for an advertisements or marketing. Suddenly, everyone and their parents were playing the game quite often, all around the world. Anyone who has enjoyed io-games likes of Agar.io should understand the general concept of Slither.io, where the player controls a tiny snake in the hopes of... Continue reading

Bazooka Trooper: Get rid of the bad guys in this explosive puzzle quest
Although the name may sound like a shooter game, it's more reminiscent of the paddles-and-bricks type games. Your little grizzled hero remains stationary while you aim at the criminals around the screen with your trusty bazooka. I'm a little confused as to why the game implies you're "capturing" the thieves, unless it means apprehension by scooping up their detonated innards. The explosions when the missile hits a target are vastly satisfying. Blood, bones, an eyeball or two and a fistful of coins go scattering as your hero gives a triumphant, "Yeah!" You can't actually purchase anything with the coins but... Continue reading

Retro Racers 3D is one of the coolest new racing games of 2015
Retro Racers 3D by SilverGames.com is a fast-paced and very addictive racing game that takes you back to 90’s. Even if you are not a huge fan of racing games you will like playing Retro Racers 3D. The visuals in Retro Racers 3D are superb, and while a modern racing game the developers recreated the 16-bit look of 90’s games without forgoing modern aesthetics. The colors are bright and vivid and the surroundings look very realistic, however the jagged-edged landscape items make it feel very nostalgic. At the end of every race you will receive a point ranking plus bonus... Continue reading

Zomblock: Pick-up and play zombie action
Zomblock is a simple and straightforward game. Take the basic approach of Minecraft, drop in a player with basic gear, and let them survive as long as the player can. It is surprisingly engaging and simple to maneuver. Let's go over what works and what doesn't. I started (and re-started) as a police officer. I didn't want to join the ranks of the dead too soon, and starting with a gun and med-kits seemed like the easiest path to do that. Starting the game, you simply choose from several classes, name your character, and you're on your own. I spawned... Continue reading

Strike Force Heroes 3
You play as Captain Wesley, the sole remaining member of the Strike Force Heroes, as he works to undo the machinations of Globex, a conglomerate with aspirations of global conquest. As the newly acting commander of the SFH, you must find a way to undo Globex's mental reprogramming of the other SFH members in order to stand a fighting chance when you storm its headquarters. Graphics and Sound "Strike Force Heroes 3" makes excellent use of flash in its visuals, giving characters a cartoonish aesthetic that matches up with its Saturday morning cartoon plot. The opening cutscene has an especially... Continue reading

Dragon Dash: Colorful gem collecting mobile game
It's time for Dragons to Dash in another neat web game. It's available in three languages: English, Spanish, or French. You play a cute, cuddly green dragon that must fly through a maze of enemies on the screen in front of him. Controls are everything in a game, and in this one you'll be controlling your cuddly flyer by tapping. Tapping continuously keeps your dragon afloat, while missing a tap causes him to sink. If he hits the ground 3 times during his flight, the game restarts. Graphics are colorful and interesting. You're in a candy coated world where diamonds... Continue reading

Dreamfields: wonderful fantasy farming game
Dreamsfields is a fairly competent game with impressive art design and graphics that rival World of Warcraft and Dune in terms of vivid colors that bring into question a sort of Nazarene vibe towards a role-playing environment. The character designs are also well made and adjust well within the surroundings of their fantasy based land. The shop mechanisms and AI also work impressively and compliment the game's otherworldly traits such as the vibrant interactions with characters and mobile objects. Some traits such as the music, however, sound too somber in terms of atmosphere, and the requirement to set it on... Continue reading

Grill your brain: The World's Hardest Game 3
The third edition of the World's Hardest Game series certainly lives up to its name. You will drive yourself crazy trying to figure out how to win each level of this game, but that's the fun part. You'll also wonder if there's any way out this hazardous maze. This game is perfect for passing time during lunch at work or at school. You'll discover all the little nuances... Continue reading

Sharpen your scalpel for a Scoliosis Surgery
Scoliosis Surgery is the latest in a series of medical simulation games. Previous titles include simulated surgery on the ear, brain and knee. This game focuses exclusively on the surgical procedures needed to repair the spinal condition known as scoliosis. Players interact through the mouse. There are no long instructions to read before playing. Instructions are given when moving through the different stages of surgery directly on the screen. Although the game does warn there are graphic depictions of surgery, most are relatively cartoonish and tame even if proportionally accurate. Players do not start the game in surgery. Players are... Bomb It 5: Frantic Fun
At first glance, Bomb It 5 may not look like much, maybe a run-of-the-mill Bomberman clone. However, on further look and quite a few plays, one will find a enjoyable and explosive romp. Bomb It 5 centers around your robotic avatar hunting down and blowing up 3 different enemies in a colorful maze. The characters drop bombs on the ground for their unwitting opponents to walk over and die in an explosive death. Papas Wingeria
The Scale of the Universe 2
This universe (2) is full of wondrous and tremendously different things. One thing that the average person has difficulty imaging is the vast difference in size between various items in the universe, from the smallest atom to the largest of galaxies. This disparity of scale is captured brilliantly in the “game” The Scale of the Universe. The controls of "The Scale of the Universe 2" are simple: you push a bar left and right, with left taking you to smaller and smaller scales while moving right gives you a bird’s eye view of increasingly larger objects. It even goes into... Continue reading

Theme Hotel
Simulation games are a great way to experience life events you would normally have no access to enjoying. This is true of flight simulators as well as business simulators. Simulation games vary in difficulty depending on their audience. Some business simulators are exactingly realistic while others are designed more for lighthearted fun. The online simulation "Theme Hotel" is one of the latter type of simulations. "Theme Hotel" starts by letting you play the game with or without sound. This option is much appreciated for gamers (like me) who listen to music on headphones while they play. Enter the name of... Continue reading

When you make a mistake, though, your dreams will crumble and you will be forced to leave the stage.... Continue reading

Demonrift TD - Tower Defense
Demonrift TD takes its inspiration from the classic Tower Defense genre, in which players strategically purchase towers to place along a winding road. The goal is to keep monsters and other enemies from reaching the end of the road. The money used to purchase these towers is acquired by killing monsters. Typical strategies consist of placing towers near choke points, around "hairpin" turns, or in other locations where they can deal the most damage while enemies pass. Enemies come in waves; after the final wave, a particular map is finished, and the player progresses to the next map. While Demonrift... Continue reading

As in the original Arcuz, Arcuz 2 revolves around the story of a small boy who must save his village and those he loves from utter destruction. Papa's Freezeria
For anyone that's ever wondered if they have what it takes to run an ice cream shop, there's a new Flash game that's right up your alley. Papa's Freezeria from FlipLineStudios places you in the shoes of either Alberto or Penny, working to create, blend and top customers' sundaes just right. While there's not much story to it, the gameplay is surprisingly more fun than actually working a real minimum wage job. The gameplay in Papa's Freezeria is fairly straightforward. Each day at the shop, multiple customers come in and order a sundae with a specific set of ingredients. Once... Continue reading
