I love yarn. I love to knit and crochet with it, I use it to tie bows on presents and I save scraps of yarn and put it out for the neighborhood birdies to use in their spring nest building. It seems only natural that I would also enjoy spinning... Continue reading

I love gardening. Caring for plants has had a very wonderful effect on my soul. God has used many many of my gardening experiences as spiritual examples for me to learn from. Every time I see a delicate flower, watch a butterfuly land on a pretty flower petal, or watch... Continue reading

Last week I got totally distracted from all housework and current work projects. With an old bed sheet, a pattern I picked up on a whim at my last trip to JoAnn's, and a couple yards of washed material, I set to work sewing a dress. One thing that has... Continue reading

Knitting is my first love, sewing is my second. Back when I was 11 & 12 I was obsessed with sewing and attempted making my own clothes. I wore some that were successful, but most were so handmade looking that they stayed in my closet until I recycled the fabric... Continue reading
