Georgia's Christening
We had Georgia baptized on the Sunday after Cooper's birthday party so the family that had come into town could be here for both events. It was quite a weekend! My friend Connie is the lay leader of our church congregation and got to present Georgia for baptism, which was special for us! Conn...
Angie, I ordered the boppy cover from etsy. I was going to make one myself, but I ran out of time so just ordered one. :-)
Georgia Catherine- 2 1/2 weeks old!
Hi friends! Our world has changed big time since I last updated the blog. On September 14, we welcomed Georgia Catherine into our family! She is SO precious, and my heart could just burst with happiness at how much I love her. I've been trying to figure out how to do a big update, since the...
Yes Missy, maybe I should clarify. I am content. But Id still love me a house full of Ethan Allen furniture. :-)
Content
I've written before about how I tend not to live "in the moment"....always thinking about what will come next rather than enjoying the time I'm in. I've been thinking about how up until recently, that's just what life was about: waiting and preparing for the next phase. In high school I was pr...
I got Happy Camper and Off to the Bay for Coop. Really wanted Kinda Crabby and Set Sail, but they didnt have his size.
For Lent
I don't usually give up anything for Lent. It's just not been something that anyone in my family does, Stewart's family does, etc. I think maybe I gave up soda once for Lent during college, I can't really remember. A few times during the last several years it would kind of sneak up on me, and...
Pot roast was ok.....Ill probably look for another recipe next time. Miss you guys!

Today is Superbowl Sunday! Two years ago, my Super Cooper was born in the early morning (7:29) on Superbowl Sunday. I vaguely remember the game being on in our hospital room that evening, but I was a bit distracted by the little bundle of joy snoozing at the end of the bed. I think maybe the ...
Im impressed, Bri! Although I like it when you comment multiple times. Makes me feel like my blog is more read than it actually is. :-)
I actually made something from Pinterest!
I have been collecting "ideas" from Pinterest right and left, but hadn't gotten around to actually doing anything I had found. Until now! I used this tutorial to make a Florida Gator ribbon wreath, which was time consuming but not difficult. I really like how it turned out, and will probably ...
He cant wear goggles because they want him to keep his eyes open without them. The thought is that if he was to fall into a pool or something accidentally, he wouldnt have goggles on. And actually, he quite enjoys the lessons! He asks to go to the pool (or asks for the instructor Julia), and usually smiles the whole time!
18 months
Cooper is a year and a half old today! How is that possible? Didn't we just have his first birthday party?? Here's what he's up to at 18 months: Has such a large vocabulary that I've lost count of how many words he knows! Said his first sentence today as we left church: "I see balloon!" Lo...
Ms. Barbara, I LOVE that video of Will talking about the poop. Hes a riot!
True story
Warning: This is a story about poop. Keep reading if you dare. Tonight Cooper was chillin' in his booster seat while I prepared dinner for me and Stewart. He started whining and saying "poo-poo". I asked if he wanted to sit on the potty, to which he replied "yes, please." He often says no t...
