Hole-In-One Saturday August 21st, 2010
Congratulations Charlie Turner! Charlie aced hole #15 on Saturday August 21st, 2010, while playing with Dr. Couture, Dr. Podeschi, and Dr. Allara. Charlie teed off with a driver and put it in the bottom of the cup. This is actually Charlies second hole-in-one on hole #15 and his eighth hole-in-one in his golfing career. Way to go Charlie! New Course Record
Hidden Valley CC's and Virginia Tech's Aaron Eckstein broke Feilding Brewbaker's course record (63) on July 2nd by firing a career low of 60. Aaron shot a stunning score of 29 on the back 9 and a score of 31 on the front. This record round was witnessed by our Pro Shop Assistant, Cole Rosen. Aaron was recently named to the 2010 All-ACC AcademicTeam as announced by Commissioner John Swofford. If you see Aaron be sure to congratulate him on his wonderful round of golf! Continue reading
