Free Agency: The Buffalo Sabres and the Pegula Factor
All three of the Sabres´ free agency defensman on the current roster are restricted; Andrej Sekera, Mike Weber, and Marc-Andre Gragnani. Sekera is probably the strongest candidate of the three, but with only about $7 million to play with under the new salary cap of $64 million we may anticipate more trades than signings for Buffalo. Free Agency: The Florida Panthers and New Money
The clock won´t strike until next year for Florida´s blueline, as only Alexander Sulzer and Joe Callahan stand unrestricted. Neither are offensive dynamos, with one assist each in the 2010-2011 season and , and -3 and -1 plus/minus respectively; with other prospects on the market, their future in the South is questionable. Headshots: Still on Hockey´s Mind
