I store mine in a plastic freezer bag in the freezer. They've kept for over a year that way. I've never stored them in the fridge so I can't answer that question.
@Kitchen Ninja - I'm so happy you liked them!!! The last batch I made only made it to the freezer after I had eaten about half of them.
@One Crafty Mumma - It thrills me to know that I've got a reader from Australia! My uncle lives there and I visited there when I was younger although we never made our way out to Tasmania. Freezing tomatoes whole is one of my favorite ways to quickly save my tomatoes. It gets so hot in our kitchen that I like to wait and do my canning in the fall. This makes it easier to do that.

I have 'What to Drink With What You Eat' and I love the book. I would love to win a copy of this book because I've wanted one for a while now. My latest favorite flavor combo has been Cambozola - I love the faint sweetness of it with the incredible savoriness of the blue cheese. I've been eating it with figs & honey and tonight we had it with Benton's prosciutto.
Thanks Candace! Dana - I always make huge batches of caramelized onions to freeze for later, especially since most of the time I use them for French onion soup. There's a little loss of texture but not enough to make much of a difference for me. Plus it's so convenient.

Thanks you all! Elizabeth - I'd love to meet up with you! We've got a pretty busy day planned because we're in the middle of some MAJOR renovations to our house (as in demolition & putting walls up) but we plan on getting to the market on Saturday morning pretty early. I'll email you as well to make sure I get in touch with you.
13 letters - We sell them $2.50 each or 3 for $5. All peppers/eggplants/herbs are $2 each. Joy - I'm sure you'll do fine. I've killed more plants than I want to admit in a public forum. Just jump in and if they die, they die. It's how you learn to garden.
