Safe is safe and responsible. Risk is inspiring and empowering and even if you stumble, you come out stronger than you would have without having taken a risk. Have you ever seen the clip of Francis Chan and the balance beam? Whenever I get anxious or afraid of taking a chance I remember his thoughts/words and I'm given new conviction. "I don't want to go where the majority goes." :-) If you haven't seen it, search for it on Youtube.
