Oh No! What a scary morning. I hope the lovely Cleo is all better. We had an old dog, Pappy, (we rescued him from the pound) and he was not well for a long time but the vet couldn't ever find anything wrong with him. I went out of town for a week and Pappy died in his sleep the first night I was gone. I was so sad. Chris said it was like he was waiting for me to go somewhere.

There is (or was way back in the 70's) a big statue of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox in Bemidji, MN. My parent's took me by there as I had just done some reading/research on Paul Bunyan....and we were on a months long tour of the US and pretty much anywhere we kids wanted to go---we went. I hope your little blue bug is very kind to you and serves you for many years. I want one of the old ones. :)

I whole heartedly agree with Paula's second paragraph. The people that love you do not lie to you nor do they intentionally hurt you. You can have an argument with the one you love and at the end of the day---apologies are made and forgiveness is given. I also agree with Paula's motto. It is better to be alone than it is to be in a bad/toxic relationship. There really is something called 'mental abuse' and it can hurt as much as physical abuse...just because you don't see the damage doesn't mean it is not there. Don't call him. Let him call you. If he doesn't call in a few days then your relationship is over. Go ahead and cry...but don't let him back in.
