Of course! You had a real connection to him. Plus he was an awesome guy. Yeah, it was blow but it really got me thinking about how important it is to live life as fully as you can. What a legacy he left!

In the fall of 1994 at Oberlin College, I started the first chapter of Students for a Free Tibet. I had previously interned at the Internation Campaign for Tibet, and I went on to intern at Milerapa (the foundation Yauch co-founded) and through this work I had a fairly strong connection to Adam ...

Yes, I've read every Charles Dickens novel. I went through a phase in high school where I really wanted to say that I had read every book by a particular writer. Dickens totally licked this obsession. It took a long time to do and Hard Times was a total bear. I don't even remember Pickwick Papers.
Brett is hotter but Jermaine is more fun. Plus Brett looks like someone I know so it's kind of weird.
25 Things About Me
I was tagged with this on Facebook and tried to come up with some good answers. Here it goes: 1. I’ve read every book by Charles Dickens. 2. I have The Breakfast Club memorized from beginning to end. 3. Wool gives me hives. 4. I desperately want to live abroad but I’m scared that NY is really t...

Invisible Men
I've been meaning to post these for a long, long time. I just wanted to call your attention to two short pieces that I directed entitled Invisible Men. They are now live on The National Black Programming Consortium’s (NBPC) new site, The Masculinity Project. I worked with a homeless outreach...

Signs of Gentrification
*Note: If you are not from NY, this might be less interesting for you though maybe not. Gentrification is every where but all of the Brooklyn neighborhood references can be off putting.* When I googled Crown Heights, Brooklyn to find pictures to go with this entry, I found this one. This place...
Romany Malco is totally hot, straight or gay!!! I am all over Blades of Glory.
Blades of Glory: Homoeroticism in a tight spandex package
Shira and I saw Blades of Glory this weekend. Very funny. Very homoerotic. What's his name is actually quite pretty when he's not being Napoleon Dynamite. But then, I like girly, geeky boys. The chick from the Office is in it too (Sorry, I'm just too lazy right now to look up everyone's names), ...
My favorite line is: "My being a woman does not give you license to come on to me." So true. A lot of guys really think that.
Dear heterosexual men,
No, I am not going to have sex with you. No, I am not attracted to you. No, I do not think it's funny or charming or attractive when you come on to me and/or my fiancée or presume that you would be a welcome addition to our monogamous relationship of five and a half years. When you stare at me (o...
