Andy, sorry to hear about your bad experience at the Texas Roadhouse. Please note that the Twin Cities Restaurant Blog is not affiliated with Texas Roadhouse in any way. I am independent and do reviews of all the local restaurants I dine at.....

What I ordered was not the most healthy but they really do have a lot of other healthy items on the menu ;)

I was out of state for most of the summer and so these mini reviews are fill-ins for the time I was gone. Never fear, many more local reviews coming soon!

Sorry I didn't post this until now :( I had intended to get the write up done for my Cinco de Mayo week, but had too many other things going on this month. I have a few in queue that also need to be written asap.

Thank you, Denise!! It is a lot of fun and obviously I love food ;) Its nice that I am now getting a few free meals here and there and also getting some $ advertising....not much, but a little :)

I meant the northeastern suburbs where Dana and I both live. I was unaware of a location in Crystal, but even so.... that is further away from me than the Eagan location and probably just as far as Burnsville :(

Thank you for your suggestion, Katey. You have a valid point about wanting the links to the sites instead of having every post to sort through. I can do what you have asked but it will take some time to reformat it and to add new page links for each category. The way I have it set up now is out of convenience for myself, as I just need to add tags to each post and it categorizes itself ;) Up to this point I have not made a dime on this blog, just putting the info out there for the convenience of others so I only work when I can get around to it. Hopefully I can add the features you suggested, especially to the drop-down menus, in a few weeks.

Glad you enjoyed King's City, John! I haven't had their lunch buffet in a long time, but I eat the dinner buffet at least once a month :)

I deleted the other comment with your name. How disappointing your experience was with Jake's. That is awful...nothing worse than bad service. I have not been back there myself just because there are so many other options out there for less money

Thanks Lauren. I will have to check out your Tulsa Food Blog, it looks like you may be doing something similar to this blog in the Tulsa area?

I didn't even realize that restaurant was still open as Sgt. Peppers??!! Haven't they changed ownership/names a few times?? Thanks for the recommendation!

Glad they're helpful. I will continue adding to them as I visit new restaurants and will have a permanent drop down menu near location and cuisine by next week!

John, You reminded me that there is also a seasonal Dino's location actually located within the State Fairgrounds and is only open during the Fair. I will have to look into which street it is on.
