The cartoon reminds me of the 4 blind men who were each feeling a different part of an elephant and each thought they were touching something different. Everyone's experience of the same thing may lead to different conclusions, just as copper repipe may be for cleaner water or simply better water pressure.

It all depends on what your goals are. If you are entrepreneurially minded, then you are not going after the corner office. You want the whole company, just like my wife runs her copper repipe business.
I think you've covered the topic very well. Unfortunately, i am involved in a service business, not a physical product business, so not all of these points can be applied.

Have the bugs been worked out yet or is this still in beta. I know in my copper repipe business, people expect positive pre-determined results. I guess computing is a different animal entirely.

So how do they determine the persona of a specific product or an entire product line? What would be the persona of a service like copper repipe? Is it a man? Concerned housewife? Who makes these decisions?
