I am taking the day off, my friends. We are hunkering in as a family with four sore throats, two runny noses, one fever and plenty of malaise. Have a great (sunny) day. We'll be here - making tinctures and teas, reading books, playing games and resting up. Back in action again tomorrow! Lo...

Beautifully done. My little family has been there every day possible. THIS is something to be passionate about. It has brought people together and the impact is far larger than most realize. THE WORLD IS WATCHING WISCONSIN. Let that sink in for a moment. History is being made here. HERE, in Madison. Not in the Middle East, not in D.C. Here, in the land of Super Bowl Champions and cheeseheads. Here, in the city built between two lakes. And it is beautiful.

I did mention that I'm from Wisconsin, didn't I? Wisconsin made a bit of news this week, in case you hadn't noticed. Our new Governor has introduced a budget repair bill that is being met with enthusiasm, though not the kind he was planning on. The democratic senators have left the state...
We get something like these at our local co-op...only they look like they've been pushed through an extruder/pasta maker and coated in oat flour so they don't stick. Jack loves them! I am excited that I can make them at home now...
