"For all text (including tables and the reference list), authors should use a serif typeface, because it improves readability. The preferred font is Times New Roman, 12 point." OK, so why is this post in Verdana, then? I, too, prefer to read serif fonts. But what about accessibility? It seems that screen readers function better with sans serif fonts. Why doesn't APA also recommend accessible fonts?
