You rock as always but THANK YOU for introducing 'On Frozen Blog' to me! I love it and really wanted to get reaquainted with hockey again this year.
Earlier this month the DC Council disapproved the penny per ounce soda tax proposed by Ward 3 Councilwoman Mary Cheh. This tax, which would include not just soda but sports drinks and sugary juice drinks, was proposed to assist in... Continue reading

Congratulations! I didn't enjoy my "suite" the first time but the second time I loved it. I'm already looking forward to that part with the third as well.

I am the same way and in fact, just thought about how I'm awaiting Dec. 21 already. Though I have to say Jan-March are just awful for me. It's crippling sometimes. I wish I could offer a remedy but I'm still searching as well.

I second that michele. And wearing pink? Why do they always wear pink? Is no other color allowed at The Mansion?

really I just love any Cadbury chocolate. I envy that giant head-sized egg you got! Man, I would love that! I must get my father to bring back some Cadbury when he goes to England next month.

I was just thinking about this and how it is a new phase my friends and I are going through as well. I feel like I am officially an adult now. There is no turning back.

What a wonderfully written post and it is the first time I read a story like this as it is similar to mine. Same age as you and I begged to be sent away as well. I had to wait until college to get my wish. Thank you for posting it and helping to bring awareness to this issue. It sickens me that Viacom/Nickelodeon isn't manning up and dropping Brown like Wrigley's did.

So true. When I think of all that I do with my kids and what I did with my parents it is entirely different. My husband is all about weekends being family time and when I was a kid I just tagged along with whatever my parents needed and wanted to do. I needed to read this and know I'm not the only one who feels this way!
