Now that the holiday season is fully upon us, I've been thinking about how to get really good use out of my knitting obsession - I think that I have made waaayy too many scarves in the last few years, and it might be time to pass them on to people who might really appreciate them. once again, necessity has become the mother of invention - I got a really great bag to keep my knitting in - ordered it over the interwebs, never got a chance to try it on - but the reviews were good. So, it came, it was wonderful; the only problem was that the "drop" was about 2-4 inches too short. After spending a grand total of five nights and four days with my beloved, albeit small, family for Thanksgiving, and with not a whit of work obligations on the agenda for the day, I can spend this rainy Monday at home in peace AND quiet -- trying very very hard NOT to participate in CyberMonday (even though I'm always facing the laptop on my kitchen table), I'm able to knit to my heart's content!
