If It Hurts Then You Gotta Put a Name on It!
In a recent argument with my new beau, as we neared our resolution he said something to me that sparked such a positive feeling inside that I had to investigate it further. He said to me, "I'm not going to break up with you, we have too much potential.". (I... Continue reading

More Than a Year Later...
I would apologize for the hiatus but how much of my original readership actually survived the year-long black out??? *crickets chirp* Thought so. Anyhow, I thought I'd take this as an opportunity to just start over. Everything else in my life had a complete reboot about a year ago, I... Continue reading

Mrs. FD, I agree with you 100%. That is the main reason I am hurting so much over this, I can't be there for him and help him work through this. But at some point I've got to wake up and realize that I'm in love with someone who can't adequately reciprocate and move on from there.
March 15th: Beware the Ides of March
Sorry I haven't checked in since my surgery! I hope you weren't too worried. I have made a full recovery and most everything has begun to get back to normal. My current weight is 240, still. I've obviously hit a plateau but I'm going to work through it the best I can. I'm going through a...
I miss you too! I would read your blog here if you ever posted anything. but alas I too am guilty of not blogging as much as I did on VOX because I really don't like it here, and I have no friends, and the 8 people that do follow me NEVER comment.
I hate WP for the same reasons you do and now finding myself wanting to move in hope of getting old friends to follow me again and finding a new larger readership. not that I care about being popular, I just like feedback.
Anywho, I will follow you wherever you go, I just can't figure out how to e-mail you on this damned thing!
Good Buy Sweet World.
Since the demise of Vox I've been doing a lot of bitching about it not being around. I switched to both TypePad and Wordpress figuring I'd decide which one I preferred then that would become my main blog. Wordpress is complicated, confusing and has crappy privacy options but it has one thing th...

Geeze that's embarrassing, how do I delete an accidental comment?
What I really wanted to say was that I have the spreader and it's fantastic! Thanks for the link to the website, now I can collect them all!
Chef'n Spatulas
A few years back I picked up an oddly-shaped silicone spatula on sale at a fancy, local grocery store. I was intrigued by it's double-ended design and the claim it was heat-resistant to 650º F (340º C). It worked so well as a spatula for baking and also as a stirring tool for cooking that ...

Blues and Pink
Hello Friends, I received a bouquet of pink ranunculus last week and it inspired me to do a little color story for you. I know pink is not for everyone but I love pink flowers. Pink blossoms are spring. I know it is still technically winter, but fresh, ...

Why the radio silence?
October. Really? Have I not been here since October? No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. NO, I haven't stopped cooking, or trying new things, but I have been too busy to come here and tell you all about the adventures. It's been a wild few months. Granted running a business does...
What a wonderful idea, I love recycling crafts! And with a change of color palette I'm sure you could use this idea all year long.
