They are so easy and versatile and everyone I've made has been delicious. This lunch is made with cauliflower 'rice', carrot, avocado and cucumber drizzled... Continue reading

Today's lunch is rich in simplicity. A "Zen" lunch, if you will. The beets in the garden didn't get as large as I hoped, but beets they are and sweet and crunchy with that light, juicy sting as you swallow. They say that eating a small piece of raw beet... Continue reading

First, I have to apologize for the low quality images. My camera is out of batteries, the store is too far away, dreamlets were sick... you get the picture (no pun intended). So with cell phone in hand I had to take a snap of these amazing little blossoms on... Continue reading

Honestly, when I was making this I ate the first batch right out of the dehydrator before they were even finished. It is one of those mixtures of tastes and texture that touches on perfection and so easy to make. Sprouted raw, unprocessed nuts and seeds are packed with proteins,... Continue reading

We spent the day up in the mountains near Holomonda looking around at lots for sale and driving dirt roads into the forests. It was cold but we had a great time dreaming and imagining where we'll build our log/wood home, creating a paddock paradise for our horses, where the... Continue reading

Today I made a recipe inspired from Sergei and Valya Boutenko's book 'Fresh, The Ultimate Live-Food Cookbook'. It is the first book I bought on raw foods and still one of my favorites. What brought me to this book, and what I especially love about Sergei is his emphasis on... Continue reading

I have these notebooks on my laptop that I write to my dreamlets in as life happens. It is a place where I can talk to them and let them know how much I love them. I can tell them things I am not able to tell them due to... Continue reading

Everywhere I turn in this life I find that simplicity speaks in the clearest voice. This simple lunch of fresh strawberries and bananas with a raw chocolate mousse was exquisite. I made this bowl and went outside to photograph it. My dreamlets were close by and when they caught a... Continue reading

My supplies are getting low. I'm out of nuts and most seeds so I rummaged around in my nut/seed drawer to see what I could find to make some kind of bread. I found flax seeds and sunflower seeds and soaked them for a few hours, then blended a few... Continue reading

I love beets.... have tons of them growing in the greenhouse. Now I'm thinking of getting some more seedlings going because in a few weeks it'll be time for the outdoor spring garden! I'll need more beets:) Thanks for the photo compliments... coming from an exceptional photographer your words carry more weight.
