Sapp was and is an ass. No matter who is hired, they will come with baggage. The issue is if the baggage is an overnight bag or an entire freaking set. I think Randy has to do a self evaluation if he seeks or desires to be a head coach in the future. The media plays a factor in how one is preceived and although the coach cannot become best friends with the media, a good relationship is advantageous. One of the greatest coaches in the history of football was aloof and did not enjoy doing interviews, however it comes with job. I am speaking about the great Chuck Noll who instilled a culture which is prevalent today in my Pittsburgh Steelers.
