I wish, dearly wish, we could follow the ancient Greek example and make that part of ... what's-his-name's sentence part of the ruling against Lennon's killer and all the rest of them. As you say: remember the victims. Remember the deed, and try to prevent it from repeating. Forget the perpetrator.
