The imams and other Muslims who claim that they want the construction of the Ground Zero Mosque as a "cross cultural center" are enegaging in stealth jihad. In other words they are putting into practice the Islamic doctrine of Taqqiyya, [Deception]. They really know how to dissimulate. Furthermore, in a four night lecture at a church in York Pa. during the question period the subject came up about the proposed building of the Ground Zero Mosque. One of the two speakers ,Rev. Joseph Moussa, who is an Arab Christian and who lived in Syria for many years said that the construction of this mosque at ground zero will be taken in the Middle East as the message "You see what we did here, we brought down the twin towers and build up a mosque. Moreover, the other speaker, Dr. Daniel Shayesteh, who in past times was both a Muslim and a Hezbollah member and is now a Christian said that the building of the Ground zero mosque will also be taken as the message in the Middle East as "We have killed and have been victotious." In addition, in the book that Dr. Shayesteh wrote ISLAM THE HOUSE I LEFT BEHIND on page 99 that "The mosque is vital for establishing Muslims as sovereign over non-Muslims in a non-Islamic socety. Building a mosque in a non-Islamic society or country symbolizes Islam's claim over that society or country, even with a non-Muslim majority."
