I am a 36 year old single guy native to the Pensacola, Florida area. I reside in the East Milton community. I have a beautiful eight year old child named Mackenzie. I'm a professional driver, a decent carpenter, a "self labeled" novice writer HA HA! , and an easy going laid back guy. I love my heavenly father Jesus! I love to speak and write about Christ and how I am being changed..

That's an incredible unselfish act of kindness and integrity! As I watched, this came to mind. We knock it out of the park when we embrace Christ, but after we hit the homerun we ALL need the help our brothers and sisters within the body of Christ to touch all the bases on the way home. Your right Bobby! That was the best thing I saw today!
Your Brother in Christ,
Thomas!
Wow....
It's Monday, and I am FEELING it......:) We had a fantastic Sunday across the board, with worship being so rich, so sweet,.......It was like swimming in crystal clear water. You felt quickened and ALIVE! I am not in a 'long post' mood today, so I decided to post this piece I watched this m...
Thank you Amanda! I typically don't get much feedback on typepad, most of my readers are on myspace. I will get a facebook account someday to attach this blog to it
The Lonley Road
The lonely road winds through every soul… Sometimes by choice is why they walk alone… Thoughts of sorrow… Feelings of fear… Follow the hearts of those who travel here… On the lonely road. God only knows a sad saint's heart…. It's never too late to believe and let God make a ...
Thank you Bobby...MY BROTHER IN CHRIST!!
I decided to look into fear tonight and this jumped out!
Job 4 (Amplified Bible)
12Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and my ear received a whisper of it.
13In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,
14Fear came upon me and trembling, which made all my bones shake.
15Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up!
16[The spirit] stood still, but I could not discern the appearance of it. A form was before my eyes; there was silence, and then I heard a voice, saying,
17Can mortal man be just before God, or be more right than He is? Can a man be pure before his Maker, or be more cleansed than He is?(A)
18Even in His [heavenly] servants He puts no trust or confidence, and His angels He charges with folly and error--
19How much more those who dwell in houses (bodies) of clay, whose foundations are in the dust, who are crushed like the moth.
20Between morning and evening they are destroyed; without anyone noticing it they perish forever.
Facing Off With Fear
Over the past few weeks, I have talked to more than a few folk who are genuinely fearful about the future. I opened up the paper this morning and on page 2....what was the headline?.... "Study show middle-class fearful about economy". Fear is a real thing, folks. When it seizes you, it can...
I pray that Harvest will bring many to the table of victory over the evil one! I pray that thirsty people will walk in heavy from worry, strife, and doubt. May the children of God who witness the Big Let Down series walk freely through Pensacola trampling demons! HEY! a short responce! I knew I could do it!
Christ's Servant,
Thomas
Big Push
Twice a year, we do what we call "Big Push" at Harvest. This is a sermon series that we promote heavily, that is 'high interest'. During these weeks, we focus all our energy and resources on 1 thing: GROWTH! Churches tend to plateau. To break the plateau, you have to be INTENTIONAL: You h...
Sounds interesting, I'll give it a rip!
The "Tonic"
OK......enough of you have requested I post the ingredients for the 'tonic' I started drinking last month. Here goes.... But first, let me explain, for those of you who are clueless...:) Last month, my dad was admitted into the hospital. His blood pressure had seriously dropped, with no expl...
HA! HA! God Bless you Jeff! I'm posturing for blog love aren't I! It is what it is brother! To say the least I'm GEEKED about what God is doing in my life. I have never written well enough to communicate effectively until the past few years. I was a failure in High School I squeaked by with a 1.5 gpa. God has his hand on my brain lately. It's not a LOOK AT ME type deal. It's a look and see what CHRIST is doing through me type deal! I was shocked at the amount of Christians on myspace. I blog there too and get awesome response! I have grandmothers, pastors, kids, moms, and dads that I share blogs and life experiences with.

America's Most Sinful Cities
This past Sunday night, I got home from church and watched the end of the Academy Awards. What happened, or what was said....the very last thing spoken,.. literally stunned me. The movie, "No Country For Old Men" won best movie. The directors came up, as well as the Producer. The directors ...
I'm seriously thinking about busting the cable cable down to basic for the summer anyway. It's to expensive, and I only watch TV during college football season. I literally (NEVER) watch TV. Because of vile garbage like that! I hate how Hollywood tries to pump its secular godless ideals and sickening moral lacking garbage into the living rooms of America. I am sick to Bobby! Children's brains are being filled with this junk, yet there parents stare blankly into this mind robbing box right with them, right at the same time. If you haven't, Have a look at my blog Bobby. I posted one that skirted in likeness to yours. It was mostly geared towards the subject of moral decay relating to America's children. I can't post html in this response box, so link up to my blog by clicking my name below this message. I think you will like it. It is the blog (next) to my most recent.

I am amazed at how some things seem to be time released in life and the word of God. You see them....even hear them. One day you uncover the words and read them yet again and KAPOWEEE! and they finally "unpack". Right place...and the right time...right on time too! The older I get the more I see that God has us right where we need to be in that instant, or frame of time.
(right place...right time is what I'm illustrating here)
An example would be my former landlord "Jim" I illustrated this in Craig's blog today too. God chose me. I started going back to fellowship. Jim saw me and how it was changing me. I remember one day I just HAULED OFF AND ASKED.... "Jim...you used to be in church and even had a Sunday School class" "why did you stop going" He could not answer. Time passed....I later got discouraged and quit going for a few weeks. I learned that Jim had finally been going to the church and services I had invited him to 3 months previous. I was overjoyed!
He has since been been promoted to heaven!
I was in the right place... at the right time...RIGHT ON!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!
I love those wonderful words in the Psalms you uncovered! The strong holds must be shattered. They do not belong, nor do they fit in with a Godly walk.
Thanks
The Making of a Stronghold
Yesterday was one of those "ah, ha!!" moments in my Bible reading time. You know, you see something that you have never seen before in something you have read hundreds of times??? Don't you LOVE those? I sure do! Anyway, I was reading Psalm 19, and the following verses struck me with immen...
Pastor Craig,
Thats a great word friend! TRUTH....praise GOD!
Romans 3:23 (New International Version)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
YET WE ARE THE ELECT !!!!!
I often wonder if I am good enough to try to witness for Christ sometimes. I wonder to myself..."have I been in the word long enough to write of my savior like this?" All I know is...what I know. I feel an overbearing DESIRE to get my words out. It's kind of like a habit Craig...I have to do it. I hope I am doing the (right) thing doing the "right thing" does that make since?HA HA!
I knew of God in my adult life, but I did not fellowship due to an experience with fellowship in my youth. I have seen the light.
I TRY to illustrate about what I know to my friends and the blog community...well even on type pad. I have an account...just click on my name below and you are on my blogs. I post them on my myspace page too. I see hits on the blog, but I hope I got that stuff right.....and I really really really hope someone sees what I have written and it removes a blockage in their way of thinking about God......thats my aim....thats my purpose....I try to invoke that life changing thought. Craig in four years since returning to Christ. I'm kind of choked up up while writing this. I know for a fact the Lord had used me to bring my friend and landlord to the Lord. He is now with the Lord. Also my former neighbors and children. I tell you man...NOTHING BEATS THE FEELING of seeing a 13 year old go to the alter especially when you brought them to the service.
I APPRECIATE YOU !!! MY batteries were getting a little low, but I am reminded that I was picked to when I was unworthy!
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

"Thus you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine." Leviticus 20:26 It is wonderful to be set apart for God. What a privilege to be chosen by Him. I have three older brothers and when I was a boy we used to pick up teams and play sof...
Every time I read about when Christ was born into humanity to show us the way I get excited as if I were reading about it for the first time. Yes...praise God!

"For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did; sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh." Romans 8:3 God did it! He made a way where there was no way. He sent His own Son, Jesus, the Lamb of God, ...
I know what you are saying. Our country has changed DRAMATICALLY since those words were spoken. In our present economic stance and world wide validity those words would probably be seen as a mere empty statement. On another subject, in recent days I have seen allot of stuff on image. Earlier this evening I asked the holy spirit to guide me in my writings (I'm new at this)...anyway...The words flowed and I strung them together quite well. Quote of the Day

Ahhhhh yes....the "Iphone". I just now got my first camera phone, and designated a "ring back" tone. I think I'm around 4 years behind as far as cell phone technology, but I'll get there when I get there. ENJOY and CELEBRATE your birthday Brother!
Birthday Week Continued.....
Last night was a special night: We celebrated mine (45), my sister's (40), AND my dad's (84) birthdays. Our birthdays all fall in the same week, with my sis on the 12th, me the 13th, my dad on the 17th. We had a full house. Deb made her PHENOMENAL chicken and sausage Gumbo with garlic bread...
Timeless verse! Hey, I prayed on what I wanted to blog about. It is on "image". I found a great video on it! It's well worth a look. Christ is really helping me to to my words and thoughts together. If you would like to have a look just click on my name below and go to my (blog site)

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always...
It is amazing the measure some folks will go through to look better. It even goes further than that. Bigger house, better car, more money, more attention. The world demands it! I think I have an idea for my next blog... ha ha! I agree Pastor Craig! Image isn't anything except "fog on the mirror" I can't remember where I heard that, but I dig it! We are all guilty of it at one time or another. Some of us learn of our folly and keep it to a dull roar while others keep trying to create a facade to compensate for a soul void of the Holy Spirit and inner self worth! "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." Ephesians 1:18 We need an understanding of what great wealth we have in Christ. Our world places wrong values on ...
Well...I have heard of the scenario the guy is speaking of! I heard of this a while back, and I think it was about Germany. Sitting is done versus standing due to public sanitation purposes. This law probably goes into FULL effect during Oktoberfest probably...ha ha ehha uhmmm eh ha! This man even twists a sanitation ordinance into something to support his KJV argument! Annnnnyways we can't undo the type of inward focused teaching and beliefs this unfortunate guy has obviously had hammered into his skull for many years. What we can do is keep the focus outward and win souls for Christ! Our kind of churches are there to help folks who have been spiritually wounded "like me", AND those who have been otherwise un-churched their whole life. I love spreading the good news!

Oh great, now "Cletus Take the Reel" is going to be bouncin' round' my brain all week. Thanks....
That for SURE ain't right......
It's Monday morning and I am in a GREAT mood, ready to celebrate my "Birthday Week"! I like the idea some other countries have of celebrations lasting for a few days or week, not just a day. And as I have gotten older and less serious about myself (in some ways), I say, CELEBRATE, CELEBRATE...
***I apologize for the previous partial comment*** HA HA!
Standing still in a world of motion will be noticed! That fascinating video is proof! As the body of Christ it is important to stand on the foundation of the word of God to meet people right where they are as they go through the motions of life.
The animated background of the world is speeding by... If we do not hold firm we will be swept away too.

Chops
There is a saying that used to be used to describe a great drummer: "He's got some chops!!" I have no idea WHY that phrase is used, but this young guy has DEFINITELY got "chops". He just won the nationwide talent search for drummers sponsored by Guitar Centers of America. They had 5 minutes to...
Sure, I remember Clint Eastwood. I loved his westerns too! As for westerns, Lonesome Dove is still my all time fav Jeff. My first memory of Eastwood was when my Mom and her Boyfriend took me with them to a movie, I was like 6 or 7. (Every Which way but Loose). "Right Turn Clyde" I'll never forget it. :D.
Meandering Musings on a Monday Morning
Let me start off saying, ...WOW. The NY Giants really did that to the NE Patriots?!?!? I have to say I did 'call' it at our Harvest @ 5 service, predicting the Pats would go down in flames, but I really didnt believe it at heart. We have some SERIOUS Patriots fans at Harvest......sorry guys!...

"Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God." 1 Corinthians 2:12 It may seem that God wants to keep you in the dark, but that is really not the case. If you can't see far down the path that you ar...
I'll make it a point to check out "3-10 to Yuma". Tombstone was great, but The epic western that brought on the resurgence of westerns annnnnnnnd my all time favorite was Lonsome Dove. Yeah...Yeah it was a five parter, but they nailed it. I guess it's cause I'm creeping up the age hill, but "IMO" that one is TOUGH to follow.

I love your style of blogging Pastor Craig. I think I will refer to your blog as part of my devotionals. I often wonder if I have reached the apex on what God wants me to do for his glory, then I keep getting the feeling that their is something more...something bigger...keep brain storming...keep thinking. I have stumbled in my walk, but make NO mistake. Gods word is seared into my soul. I was telling PB and the pastor of my church Doug Holmes that I have a heart for orphans, elderly, internet ministry, and internet witnessing, and a HUGE heart for creatively convincing and illustrating the existence of our Lord and savior. I keep getting the feeling that he wants to reveal something to me, but I dunno man...I also get the feeling I have growing and learning to do beforehand. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I used to be attend Harvest and I sure blew what you outlined in your blog!
