~ Happy Friday! Who's ready for the weekend? I know I am! Today for Power Poppy Fun Friday, I've colored up the new addition to the Hellebores digital stamp set...the flowers without a glass vase. ~ ~ As I often do, I researched the colors of Hellebores before deciding on a color palette. ~ Happy Wednesday, y'all! It's time for the latest Color Throwdown challenge! Jodi is our hostess this week and the generic colors she's chosen are Black, White, and Turquoise! I love this combo! ~ ~ Sadly, I needed a sympathy card this week, so here is what I came up with: ~ ~ I started with a water colored background, then simply added black leaves and a black heat-embossed sentiment. ~ Happy Wednesday!! I'm hosting the Color Throwdown challenge this week and these are the colors that I've chosen for us to play with: Pink, Blue, and Yellow. ~ ~ I chose to use the Inner Mermaid stamp set, along with the matching dies, for a birthday card for a beautiful young lady. ~ ~ The background was blended using Distress inks and Taylored Expressions Blending Brushes. ~ Happy Wednesday! Today Barbara is our hostess and she has a beautiful color combo for us to play with. The generic colors are Aqua, Teal, Gray, and Gold. ~ ~ I knew right away I wanted to CASE Kelly Latevola's watercolor cards HERE. They are so beautiful! I had to change the white heat embossing to gold in order to use the design for our color combo this week. ~ Yay, it's Friday! Fun Friday, that is! I have a fun birthday card today using the Cuppa Cupcake digital stamp set from Power Poppy. ~ ~ Don't you love that wonky cupcake/teacup tower? So cute! ~ How about another masculine birthday card today? I posted one here on Wednesday, and needed another one for an upcoming birthday next month. ~ ~ I didn't want florals, but I wanted to watercolor something from nature, so I chose a small branch from the Power Poppy Woodland Carpet stamp set that could be used for a partial background/border for the card. ~ Good Friday morning, everyone! I wanted to share a birthday card that I made for a friend using the Power Poppy Strong and Beautiful stamp set. ~ ~ I used the single flower and the fern frond images to stamp around the oval that would be die cut later. The flowers were stamped in Antique Linen.
