Thanks! It was the 1st family vacation we have taken in 13 years, Sanibel is amazing for collecting shells of all shapes and sizes! Another amazing beach is Siesta Key.. the sand is super super soft! :D

Change is what helps us move forward in life, it shows that we have grown and learnt from our experiences, but everyone is afraid of it since they are afraid of the unknown, ironically it is the only constant we can count on. So embrace change, because being able to accept the fact that we cannot control our lives is what allows us to live freely. Without change there would be no progress. Being accepting of change is what allows us to let people love us and get close to us, it is what helps us get through tough times because we know they cannot last forever. So remember, the next time you become afraid of change replace it with curiousity and explore your lives. <3

Dear Grandpa,
I've been missing you a lot lately, I can't believe it has been 5 years already. So much is going on right now and I wish you were here to give me advice like you used to. I wish I could just hug you and hear your voice, your laugh. You will always be my angel, my best friend. I aspire to be like you; be nice to everyone, be fearless, not afraid to take chances and live life. I think I sometimes take life for granted, forget how precious it really is. Everytime I see a star in the sky I talk to you and I hope you hear me, even if I am not speaking aloud.

It was 5 years ago today that I last got to hug you and 5 years ago tomorrow that you will have left us. I miss you so much sometimes that it feels like it was just yesterday. We shared so many special moments. you were more than a Grandpa, you were my friend. When things are going wrong I wish you were here to make it all better like you used to. You were always so happy and laughing. I know you are in a better place now and when the sky is clear at night I always look for you among the stars. R.I.P. Grandpa I love you and always will <3

Vancouver 2010 really brought us together as a country, the boys winning the gold in hockey was the icing on the cake for Canada :) love this post!▌♥ ▌
